Extraordinary customer service! Ordered one smoothie for two kids to share, they served in two small bottles, one for each kid, which made kids very happy. I don’t know if it’s common in other places, but this is the first time for me. Definitely will come back to try other food.

Had brunch at Patch this morning. Had the big breakfast. Poached eggs were perfect. So were the butter at the correct spreadable temp. Mushrooms were great. Ordered mochaccino and cappuccino (for wife) and their coffees taste great. Service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Great brunch spot ! Service is generally fast from the two times I’ve been here ! The food is really good and the baked goods look amazing ! Coffee isn’t bad though, though the dry cappuccino I’ve ordered was cold (used old foam). Still recommend this place !

Our first time going to this cafe today with our toddler. We came today around 11am on a Saturday. It was already full. We didn’t wait that long to be seated though and our order came with a reasonable wait time. The food was delicious (on the pricey end). All the staff were very friendly and asked us if we needed anything else. Our little boy liked his French toast. I would definitely recommend you visit this cafe if you are near the neighbourhood

So we ordered the Smoked Salmon bowl, Full Patch Grill,Ooey goey benny & Chips. Appreciate as well that theres menu available here. Smoked Salmon bowl was divine and worth coming back. You can really taste the smokeeey salmon and it just works well with the sauce if you mixed it all. My friend loved the Bennies. They were perfectly cooked. Sorry we forgot the take a photo of her food My partner enjoyed the egg, chorizo of his good and we added Freshly squeezed orange juice as his Flat White was not that good. Patch has been recommended to me and will recommend this to my friends as well. We went there on a Saturday morning, be sure to cal for reservation as its usually packed. This is a 4 for me for the only reason would be the parking. There’s no available parking slot on that Saturday and we had to park somewhere kind of far.👍🏻

Delicious food with generous portions matched with super friendly staff plus great coffee !!

Good food, friendly staff and a great children's area. Only downside is that there's not enough parking spaces especially on the weekend.

Coffee is always a win from. I love the nitro cold brew and travelled all the way from West Auckland for it. Some of the cabinet food was disappointing despite looking incredibly delicious (frittata bacon was grisly and walnut brioche lacked any sweetness). However I highly recommend the orange almond cake, carrot cake and the scones! Will be back again soon. Thanks!

The food is very delicious, went two weekends in a row because the food was so good and the service was great. Staff were friendly and very hospitable. Lovely spot for meeting up with friends and family. Thanks Patch Cafe will definitely popping back again

Really enjoyed our visit here today! It was super busy when we arrived but the server found us a table. The guy who took our orders was friendly as and polite. The food was really good and was made so fast despite how busy it was! Coffee was on point and the cabinet food was a sight to behold! Will definitely be back to try more stuff!

Stylish cafe on the shore ever! . 👍𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮 Really smooth and feeling enjoyable to drink it. The cup is cute too!! Another bonus! . 👍 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗮 Korean fried Chicken burger 🍔 the chicken is really crispy! The sauce is really special to us as well. Wouldn’t think the spicy is overpowering. Go for a try! . 👍 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 We really love the fries which remind the potato skin. And it is! Dipping with the sauce I can eat at least 3 dishes! . The decorations of the cafe is great too. I believe people come her not only for the food but also the vibe. To be honest, the food here I think it’s a bit pricy though. . The carparks are really limited cos they are too popular.

Pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely cafe in a sort-of industrial area. Note there's parking behind the cafe and also opposite the cafe (easy to miss). Patch cafe somehow looks cute while blending into the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and prompt. I ordered a flat white and their Eggs Bene which both came out relatively promptly. The food was delicious! Very happy with my visit and will be back if I'm catching up with people in the area!

Delicious food, friendly staff and a gorgeous cabinet of treats Waited for about 15 minutes for a table at 10am on a Sunday. Once seated we ordered and got our food super fast Had the smoked salmon benedict, big breakfast, green smoothie & a coconut latte. Everything was perfectly cooked (poached eggs 🙌) and tasty

We have asked swap bacon to mushroom!!!! Updates -- Sure, I'm sorry I rated 1 star the moment I saw the chorizo, just made me furious and lost my cool, cause my sister have eaten some contaminated mushroom already, I'm luckily not touch any of that but still felt big offend to our culture, so I lost my rational and I rated 1 star, well... to be honest, your café always have delicious food, lovely staff and wonderful vibe, 1 star just too mean and not true and not grateful to my past experience with patch, so apologize, I will change to 5 star, more accurate:) But I do want to clarify one thing -- English is our second language, to both my sister and myself, that's why my sister have clearly asked the lovely lady 1) swap bacon with mushrooms 2) make sure the plate is VEGETARIAN version, just easier for us, in case we missed anything, but unfortunately it's still been missed out...so that's the reason we can't process that payment, but we did paid coffee x 2 + cake Hope we still can come back to patch, cause ...come on ...it's just very tiny accident on food, and you guys indeed awesome Love & Peace

Wait staff were all lovely, it was 110% full and service was great! Food is reasonably priced, delightfully presented and tastes amazing. Softshell Crab egg Benny and the brisket burger were bomb. Coffee also bomb

Great place for a morning coffee ☕ close to Pak N Save Wairau. Good ambience, buzzing with people, gets really busy on weekends, hence reservations recommended. Tried the Koreana, Shakshuk eggs and Tropical 🍹 milk shake. Ample parking 🅿️ at the back, but again depends on how busy it is. Never knew this place existed till we searched online.

Almost forgot to say something to this lovely spot. One of the best on the shore! Nice food, nice service and nice ambiance. They absolutely know what they are doing. A few nice touches, such as caring service, very efficient, nothing was a hassle to them. They even have a indoor playground for parents. Only thing is a bit challenging to find parking around, but it was all worth it. Definitely will return with family and friends.

Great service, we were greeted at entrance, waiter was friendly while we were enjoying out coffees, the matcha latte is one of a kind. Overall relaxed and chill vibe.

Came to try out this place with a couple of friends. The industrial interior style was a bonus but both food and coffee tasted average to me.

Visited the cafe in the opening day. Decent sized car park at the rear of the building available. Large area that can cater for a number of people. Tried Strawberry Lamington Hotcake, Koreana, Fish Tacos from Opening Menu. They were all great and decently sized, great for sharing and a 1.5yo boy loved the hotcake too. I personally loved the Fish Tacos the most, among the ordered food. Koreana and the Hotcake were great too. Had a flat white for drink and it was good but personally like it to be improved. 🙂 The staff were all really friendly and courteous and hope they maintain the service going forward. Many different new great toys in the kid’s playing area. The are new now and hope they will be well maintained and cleaned everyday frequently. Thanks for quite pleasant dining experience I had this morning.

Such a welcoming spot with a staff team that really do bring a positive spin to one’s day. It’s a lovely little coffee shop with a great atmosphere.

I will come back for the cabinet foods. They all looked just PERFECT. And creative. Sadly, we didn’t try to browse them first. So we ordered the French Dream Toast on the menu, which was tasty. Coffee was good. Milk texture was just right, and a nice temperature. But I was sad that they used Kokako beans. (I personally don’t like the taste of Kokako beans 😅) Staff were attentive and friendly. The guy who greeted us was friendly and helpful. The lady on the till had a beautiful smile. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Parking would be a little bit of problem, but what can we do? We will find a way, we always have.

Visited on a very busy Sunday morning. The fact the place was crowded did not at all affect the level of service and food. Both were fantastic and we were left feeling well feed and looked after. Will visit again very soon !

First time at this Cafe! What an amazing experience. It was buzzing and we had to wait a few minutes for a table but not long. Food came out quick and was delicious. Definitely will ho back yo try some things on the menu. 8f you are up to sweet treats, the counter is stocked with some appetizing, beautiful sweetness.

Great vibe and set-up, and always consistent with great food and service. Asmita always looks after us and is amazing to deal with - like the rest of the team too. Highly recommended to book ahead of time to guarantee a spot/table and also allow time to find parking. On the other hand, if you don’t book, totally worth the wait too.

Great Cafe in the Industrial heartland of Wairau. North Shore. Opposite Porana Rd. Airy with an inviting menu, friendly helpful staff. Good cooffee. Great scrambled eggs. A big industrial building light and airy with fast service given covid protocols. Highly recommended.

Woah, this place is such a spot! I received the best and friendliest service I have had in a very long time from here. Food is 100% on point - try the chicken sandwich if you are lucky enough to scoop one in time. It’s so rare and nice these days to go back after a week or so and have a business care and remember your name - very cool 11/10 you will be coming back here again and again for the service & food

It's been a long time since I've had service this good at a cafe or restaurant. The staff here are outstanding, warm, and friendly! The menu and cabinet food has such variety. I've had many a brunch here and I just can't fault the place. If you can't decide what to get, I can recommend their savoury brioche!

This is the hype of wairau! Always busy..u have to book a day in advance but wait time is not too long if you walk in. The staffs are excellent, patient, friendly and so lovely! Food came in a gif! And omg the food is amazing to look at and to eat as well! Coffee was gud too. Patch has an amazing selection of yum food, pastry and desserts to choose from. Highly recommended!

Laid back yet vibrant and upbeat atmosphere with comfortable yet modern interior. Parking can be difficult despite dedicated carpark at front and rear due to popularity, however other parking nearby. Worth going around the block once or twice.

Perfect place for great food and brunch out with kids. Always great service. Nice indoor playground with lots of toys. If visiting with kids, ask for a table next to the playground so you can observe your little ones playing while enjoying yummy food and having a break.

My coffee is like yogurt. Disappointed. Update: owner claim that the "strained yogurt" coffee was because of the coffee bean. I doubt it, clearly it didn't taste right.

Staff are friendly and genuinely welcoming. Selection of food are not ordinary, they are yummy and well presented, very enticing. Price ranges from $18-25 on average. Most of all, I like their coffee, a five star rate!

First visit to Patch, coffee is one of the best on the shore. Sweet and savory option look great. This visit was with my coworkers, and feedback was positive as well. Great ambience, and industrial decor.

Great food, great coffee and some staff are really nice and friendly. They do take care of their customers needs well. Only disappointment about this place is that they don’t have enough parking to accomodate to the amount of customers coming into the shop. It’s a industrial and commercial zone they in, so parking is a big challenge here. So if you want to come here, lunch time can be rushed.

It was quiet on an early Saturday morning. Staff were very friendly and humorous. I ordered the French dream toast and it was yummy and generous with many kinds of fruit. I will try the maple syrup next time. Was not a fan of the poached pear. I bought the pistachio ginger slice and it tasted not too gingery, had a nice note of pistachio.

Imagine my surprise to find an amazing cafe in the middle of a greasy industrial area. Their coffee is superb (my friend's iced blended coffee came with whipped cream, a caramel popcorn piece, and a single, pretty, live flower, and the foam on my soy latte perfectly creamy), their glass cabinet sweet and savory treats divine in appearance. But the a la carte food, oh my. We were constantly interruping eachother to point out a new dish being taken to another customer's table, each absolute works of art. And, even though it was mid Saurday morning and a total blitzkrieg of customers, the staff were calm, helpful, and cool. I suppose the only issue is parking, so carpool with your mates when you go, and consider reservations. What a find :)

Cool little play area for small kids, servers are amazing and go to extra lengths to make you feel comfortable. Service is fast and food served looks beautiful and tastes even better. Definitely the best Cafe in the Glenfield area. Only downfall is the lack of carparks, but that can't be helped and shouldn't deter you from visiting this beautiful place (:

Nice cafe. Good, well presented food. Good value. Parking was a mission though despite the cafe having carparks in front and at the back which were full when I arrived and when I tried a second time after going around the area trying to find somewhere to park. No nearby side streets to park.

I have been to this cafe twice and both times ordered the same thing. However, the quality of the food the second time was very bad. The first time the food was delicious - good portion size and the taste was just perfect. The second time, the food portion was literally half the size. Both the eggs and bacon were cold too. It wasn't nice at all. When I told the waitress about it, she said next time the food will be better lol...

The best cafe around, the food is not only super well presented as it is delicious. The coffee is pretty good too. They have a parking at the back but you’ve gotta be lucky to get a spot as is a very popular place. The staff is also very friendly and super fast.our new fav spot for a nice brunch.

The food and service are really good with nice and friendly staff, but coffee and cabinet items are a bit too pricey ! Overall pretty good place. Only problem is parking that is very restrictive and the place is often packed with no seats or very few, so choose wisely the time you go there.

Lovely busy cafe amongst the industrial shops. Food was delicious with a good selection on the menu as well as delicious cabinet offerings. Carparks available behind the cafe. They are also dog friendly with a small kids area inside the eatery. Slightly disappointed that they removed filter coffee from the menu. And on the day of dining, they also ran out of cold brew. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I've been coming here for a little while, initially came because it's convenient but it's one of those places that excels in all three aspects that are important to me: Wonderful coffee, delicious food and delightful service. It's a little modern oasis in an otherwise industrial area. Highly recommend checking it out. You'll come again!

Heard good things about this place. Just grabbed a coffee this morning which was excellent. But check out their cake display. I was mesmerized by it! Walked away with a scone which was delicious. Note! There is car parking at the rear of the building!

Rear carpark great but busy.. Accessible parking etc. Indoor, outdoor tables. Prices fair. Worth checking out.

Cafe was busy and good atmosphere with a mix of young families and groups. Parking was good on premise and around the back. Cabinet food looked amazing and the service was friendly and quick. My shakshuka eggs were not good, the eggs over cooked and underneath eggs were black from the cast iron pan. Will order from the cabinet next time.

Wow, I'm really happy you guys moved into the neighborhood! We finally found time to try it out as a family as my wife said it's quite family friendly with a kids play area and all. Wasn't disappointed. It was spacious play area as it was just our son lol but would accommodate plenty. We were placed at a table next to play area which was great. The food was really good. We got beef brisket burger, eggs benny, and fish taco's. The service was fantastic as wait staff are helpful and friendly. This is going to be our regular treat :)

Really nice! Friendly and relatively quick service, nice relaxed atmosphere, decent (but not perfect) food. Family had the Breakfast Bap (yummy), poached eggs (also yummy), handcut chips (excellent), smashed avo (pretty good), salmon croquettes (OK), and Asian salad (great). Most items were a little light on flavour so needed seasoning (or citrus is case of croquette), otherwise good. Recommended

Good spot for your coffee or food fix. Plenty of parking around the establishment. Cafe vibe and decor is fresh and modern - with very helpful staff. Menu is amazing and gives some of the usual favourites an interesting twist. Be prepared to revisit to tick off the list! :) Cabinet foods are mouth watering and eye candy! We recently discovered this Cafe which I think ha's been open since the beginning of the year. It is in the middle of an industrial area in Sunnybrae road, not far from the vehicle testing station on the same side of the road. It is very high quality food and using organic produce. Added bonus is there is a great Italian waiter there Ciao grazie!!

Great customer service, friendly atmosphere, good food and a very nice coffee. Parking can be scarce but it's worth the effort.

Patch is one of the best cafes on the shore, food coffee and service are consistent and of a high standard. We have brunched our way across most of Auckland and I don't make that claim lightly, at their price point they are very hard to beat.

A diamond in the industrial rough of Wairau. Went here when I was waiting for my tyres to be replaced next door. Have since been back here purely to visit this cafe. Delicious menu, cracking cabinet food, excellent coffee, and a kids area up the top. Only downside is some of the staff can be quite bewildered

Food was delicious and all the staffs were nice. Love to visit again! One thing I feel a bit sorry was the parking lot. Wasnt easy to find the space to park around the cafe.

Got the shakshuka eggs...omg... can i come here every weekend!!! You must get something from the cabinet to take home when you head up to pay. Such a reasonable price and the staff are exceptional.

The staff are extremely welcoming and there is a great selection of counter and menu choices. There is extra parking around the back. Their Kokako Mahana coffee is my favourite.
