Good place for brunch, lunch, morning coffee etc. Friendly staff, nice ambience and an atmosphere full of positive vibe. Crepes are my favorite. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Keep supporting local businesses as much as you can :)

They do a good job at eat-in when we're not in lockdown. Today, in L3, they did a good job at takeaways. Nice strong coffee and a really good date scone.

The coffee was fine, and the food was generally pretty good (six of us were there together) but just one dish was quite disappointing, just really bland, like seasoning had been forgotten. Friends we were with even tasted it and said it was much better when they had it previously. It was kind of weird, it wasn't awful, just really meh.

This place has good coffee and friendly staff. It is a nice spot with good outdoor seating but the decor is a bit vanilla. The raspberry friand i got was nice but a bit solid.

Having recommended by a work colleague, I happened to visit this cafe on a gloomy afternoon and must say what a hidden gem it is (in awe with the pretty courtyard!) Being a hospitality trainer by profession, I strongly believe that it's always the small things, if done right make any establishment successful and must say this cafe is doing great on that front. Lovely staff, warm welcome and the eggs bene i ordered hit the spot! Special shout out to one of their staff Sau. He was having his lunch in the courtyard. I mistakenly dropped my cutlery and tissue on the floor; noticing that, he left his lunch behind, swiftly got up and got them replaced. It was a bit gloomy, but as the sun came out, I was having a little difficulty with visibility while working on my laptop. Sau promptly came to the table and opened the sun shade umbrella for me. Great touch! As aforementioned, these small things raise the standard of customer service and without doubt will bring me back to your lovely cafe.

This is one of the nicest places I've been to in AKL so far. Sparkling clean, fantastic quality food, the staff is amazing. There's a stunning courtyard in the back that makes you forget you're in the middle of a busy city. The ingredients are local and fresh and ridiculously high quality; they house smoke their own salmon and it's incredible. Very worth the money, and a place you just want to spend an afternoon sipping a cold drink and reading. Well done.

Awesome friendly staff and some of the best coffee in ponsonby. Salta has seating unstairs, and in the garden which many of its visitors don't know about. The garden area is a beautiful space that takes you out of the hussle and bustle of ponsonby road of this is what you are wanting. Salta provides a large range of cabinet food such as sandwiches and cakes. My favorite dish is the wholemeal crapes, they're delicious! This cafe was originally an old house built in the early industrial era (early 1900's) and the interior of the building has kept many of the original features for an authentic feel. Overall a cute cafe! Would recommend!

We used to go to Salta every Saturday morning... for a long long time. We were never once disappointed with the food, coffee, or the friendly staff. Highly recommended. Order whatever from their menu.

Would haved liked to give a 5 but even though meal and coffee were tasty, they were cold plus ordered scrambled eggs and got poached costing extra $1. Service was friendly and premises was cosy and clean. *Revisited again 8/1/18 and was great.
