Good ambiance. We ordered the honey caramel bread. I think the bread is not fried enough personally. The flavour is not overly sweet but near the end there was not a lot of honey left for the bread, so the ratio is not right. Nice presentation and seatings though.

Great place to hang out and chill! Very relaxed ambiance and simple but really nice decor just ups the anté of the deliciously satisfying and incredibly filling shaved ice desserts! Definitely a must for all you sweet tooths out there! 👨‍🍳🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Went here for a late night treat wanting to try the honey bread as seen on social media and it was worth the hype! It is so fluffy and melt in your mouth - doesn't have the texture of bread at all! Chose the chocolate honey flavour which is such a good combo! Whipped cream finished everything off - was a good dessert 🤤

Gorgeous little place to get your sweet tooth satisfied. The place itself has got a really nice atmosphere and the sweet selection makes it very hard to choose. The staff was friendly and informed us beforehand that seasonal menu are not all available, which I appreciate. Simply a gem in Albany!

The caramel cinnamon honey bread is my absolute favourite in the menu, I get it everytime I visit. It's a good change if you don't want to have their ice cream all the time. It has the perfect amount of sweet and savoury. 100% recommend.

Absolutely delicious. The shaved ice here is so creamy and smooth & the topping flavors are mouth wateringly delicious. In my opinion this is far better than meetfresh, but these are more costly for a smaller portion. Overall superb quality and service

Nice korean bingsu (shaved ice), price can be a bit high, but the best way is to share it with your friends/family.

The portion of food is okay compared to its price but the place was too crowded. It seemed like a good place for a small group of friends but not for a family occasion. Varieties desserts were available to choose from. Takeaways were also available.

A clean and tidy establishment. Four stars given as they serve a consistent, generous portion, and tasty treats. The presentation is cute too. Lost 1 star due to difficulty with parking during their peak hours. Minor observation.. Staff need to smile more, I have been served on a couple of diffent times thinking perhaps they were unhappy to see a non-Korean customer (I am Asian myself and found this somewhat odd.. awkward).

My go to place for snow dessert has always been their next door competitor Meet Fresh..so I only came to Snowman to compare...and I find Meet Fresh much much tastier, especially their mango snowflakes....and also the food at Snowman is a lot more pricier. However, my 4 year old loved their chocolate bread.

This is genuinely the best dessert place in New Zealand. When I am overseas I tell people about their snow ices, and have never failed to impress by taking my overseas friends here when they visit. Great food, the appropriate price, great for a date at night, perfection! COFFEE ICE is my favorite!

My wife's go to place. Love the Macha and red bean combo personally, but must say, it's not for everyone. Service is friendly and efficient and a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

It seems a little expensive compared to food. However, it is tasty and cool, so there are always many people in the summer. Even when it is cold outside in the evening, it is warm inside and can be eaten.

Yummy desserts and staff are nice, we decided to be a bit rude and come ten minutes before they were closing however they still served us and were so kind!

We stumbled across this place one night while out with friends, walked past it on our way home and decided to try it. Ever since we've gone back at least once a month and have tried most the flavours and personally I like the peach and the Oreo. This place is great value for money with excellent customer service I recommend it to all my friends :)

It is so fantastic to have snowman cafe in Northshore not to mention of the first CBD shop. Staffs are very kind and cafe is bright, neat and tidy. Snowflake, its taste is always finger licking taste. Not only I eat excellent desserts, but alos great place to have chat with friends and families. Especially for late night. They open 12:00pm - midnight. Highly recommended for friends, families and whanau. Honey bread is also second to none.

Amazing service, awesome presentation, lovely atmosphere. Only criticism is not having enough syrup on the shaved ice, but was still amazing.

I was a regular customer when this shop was in chancery square. This time we traveled all the way from west Auckland to try the shaved ice. We waited at the counter for a long while, wondering was 5pm too early or too late for the shop, because only one staff was there to take and make the orders. We ordered 2 small, mango and Oreo. No wonder mango is one of the most popular flavour, decent seasonal fruity dessert in the hot summer afternoon. However I was disappointed that Oreo flavour was just average, i didn’t taste Oreo but almond flakes hit me first. I don’t think I will revisit again, but if you like to try new ice dessert, this will sure be your place!
