Lovely experience. Coffe was really nice and so was food. Ordered Burger which as really nice. Egg Benedict was nice. Omelet was pretty average and songbird break was very nice. Lovely experience and great place to have breakfast with your family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hmm this is a hard review and I think I have to go again, the coffee was OK, medium size was generous, not wow but good and hot, the cabinet food didn't look fresh or make me feel eager to try it, but I tried a date scone. It hadn't come straight out of the oven but it was pleasant. I would like to try something freshly made like pancakes or eggs for breakfast one day... Let's see. The service was friendly and attentive, and if you sit outside you overlook the playground.

Amazing service, made a reservation and added that we would need a couple of high chairs and they had everything set up ready to go. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, a Nutella Freak Shake and a side of fries. The pancakes were nice, freak shake was good and the fries were yum. Only down fall was I wished I got the Eggs Benedict so will be back to try it as it looked delicious.

My cousin went to this Cafe today, Thursday 13 January 2022. I ordered the Songbird Feast $24.90. Reasonably priced. My cousin ordered omelette, again reasonably priced $20.90. We ordered our drinks, large flat white and large Mocha. Lovely atmosphere. Well ventilated. Lots of seating inside and out. Very comfortable vibe. I had heard such good comments about this Cafe, that I had to check it out. Awesome service. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely will be returning with my family.

I've stopped in here twice now while doing the Harbourside - Waiata Shores - Harbourside walk, and both times have been impressed. The first time I sat outside... so lovely and peaceful! The second time I sat inside waiting for my takeaway coffee. The staff made me feel welcome even though I had only ordered a coffee to go. Pictured: Large trim flat white ❤️

Highly recommend, cafe was very busy, staff nice and friendly. My daughter had the carbonate and I had the fish tacos with pineapple salsa. Very enjoyable meal, coffee nice. Only problem is there is not a lot of parking, the council has yellow lines on both sides of the road where the cafe is. Nor very fair. Nice kids playground outside the cafe. Will definitely be back.

Food was quite salty overall. Porkbelly and the chips. Ground made enormous squeaky noises moving chairs and tables unpleasant for ears.

Beautiful freakshake, just what you want. The steak sandwich was awesome, although the chicken burger was overdone and quite dry. Park next door makes it a great cafe for the kids, and their chips were to die for. On the whole a good experience with room for improvement. However the staff asked for and received feedback so graciously, I expect great things to come in the near future. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Nice new discovery ust popped in for afternoon snack after a doggie walk at Botanical Gardens. Very roomy and open park just outside for the children. Did well with the social distancing. We all enjoyed our meals/snacks.

Our regular go-to cafe for simply the best in the area! Their coffee is a refreshing change in taste and the staff are so friendly. No request is too hard for customising your order due to dietary needs, the owner is always on premises. The food is always fresh and the salad we tried was sensational! Portion sizes are great for hearty meals.

I am so incredibly blessed with living so close to place! I went in today with my family. We all ordered the chicken burger. I'm currently pregnant and did think twice about the aioli having raw egg in and the owner came out and re made the entire burger for me not even worrying about the cost. He really cares about his customers. Definitely a lil hidden gem this cafe highly recommended thankyou so much ♥️

Nice Cafe in a residential area. It was busy and very little parking (only saw the sign for a second car park when we left) The food was average. There was lots of pig hair on the pork belly and the skin was not crispy. Good area for a coffee and catch up with friends.

Ordered a stuffed potato and the nutella freak shake. The stuffed potato was awesome! Very tasty and filling. The nutella freak shake looked out of this world fabulous but it was essentially just chocolate milk with massive amounts of nutella smeared around the outside of the glass. The shake was served with a ginger nut biscuit and jersey caramels on the side, which was confusing for my taste buds. Was a let down to be honest. I'll definitely go again and hopefully increase my rating.

Very helpful, friendly and obliging waitress. Cheese scone was delicious. However, the scone and coffee combo advertised on the website is no longer available so that advert needs to be taken off. It was very noisy inside but our group managed to relocate outside which was perfect! Recommend if booking for a group that an outside table is requested.

Lovely cafe, it's super busy but the food comes quickly and it's a yummy good sized portion. There is an amazing playground right outside which is fantastic for the kids. Also a good outdoor seating area. Only cons: Definitely on the pricier side for cafes, a full breakfast will set you back $22! also there is basically no parking!

Really nice place with a great playground outside for kids. Great having the option to sit outdoors so you can enjoy food while watching the children play. Food was really good. We had the songbird breakfast which was amazing and the rostis were 👌 our son had the kids option with sandwich/drink/fruit and yoghurt. Was a great price and presented so nicely. The sandwich bread was super dry so he didn't eat it at all - but that's fine, we will just try something else next time. That was the only criticism whatsoever (and reason for 4 stars not 5). It will definitely not stop me from going back as its lovely and our food was good!

Drove up from Whakamarama on a Sunday cruise, very delightful on a winter's day with room for the fur baby to run around, and the toddlers and younglings to climb, slide, swing, and run too. Now the seating is excellent and the service is extremely confident and with smiles. The only thing was the pork belly was undercooked but everything else was fantastic. Recommend booking a table

The food wasn't too bad but not what I expected for the price for takeaway. 1. The eggs Benedict: came with 2 eggs, 1x patty and no bread. Kind of overwhelming with the eggs, where was the bread??? 2. The coffee cups were a little weird to drink out of. May need to find normal cups. 3. The smashed avo is really nice. 🙂. I would suggest to get bigger bags for takeaway customers, my food was all messed up when I got home to celebrate today's valentine's day. Wife wasn't too upset but the presentation would've helped.

They have a really cool out door playground, provide toys, colouring books with crayons and free fluffies for the kids as well as delicious cooked meals and cabinet foods. It's one of the few places in Auckland where you can sit and have a meal and a drink while watching your children play on the playground. So even if you may find it a bit pricey, it's worth not having to cook a meal and letting your little ones play.

Nice cafe in WaiataShore new suburb of south Auckland Quite busy place on weekends as Fletched selling house and people visit this place for open homes like we did and spent good time and had breakfast at this cafe which was quite good. Nice presentation Food was yummy Good staff Lots of car parking including car charging (2 ports) for electric cars. This cafe next to children’s park which makes parents breakfast very easy . Must visit place. Only comment their Mocca was not that chocolatie and sweet as compare to other cafes
