M.Awesome food, we had the chicken stack and French toast both were well priced and super tasty. One of the best cafes on the shore.
Awesome vegan and vege options and offer a discount if you bring your own cup for takeaways.
Decor was slightly aged and could do with a bit of a tickle up but had a nice homely feel and staff were friendly. Will definitely be back.

Going again this Saturday it'll be my third visit. The photo is of the big breakfast, everything thing was excellent.

K.What an absolutely divine breakfast I had at this cafe. The service was great and the food scrumpy. I'm not vegan but I chose the mushroom stack with a quinoa rosti and it was so tasty. I recommend this cafe to anyone who wants something different and absolutely mouthwatering to try this cafe in Browns Bay
C.This is quickly becoming our favorite breakfast local, one of the few cafes open from 7.30am in this area and always delivering friendly customer service and yummy food. Love the range of vegan options and the coffee has been spot on too. This mornings mushroom stack with quinoa roastie and beetroot hummus was absolutely delicious.
UPDATE: Vegan loaded fries were hot, crispy and tasty with fresh toppings and a good quality vegan cheese. Daughter said the smoked salmon eggs benedict was to die for - generous with the salmon, perfectly poached eggs and sweet and tangy sauce to tie the flavors together. Happy customers once again.

m.What a great spot for a weekend breakfast! Cosy feel with couches and chairs with cushions and a nice outdoor option. Service is friendly and fast and best of all- the food is terrific! The French Toast is sublime and this is one of the few places I've been for breakfast where the creamy mushroom option includes eggs, bacon and sausage (in this case chorizo). Buckwheat pancakes are also highly recommended. Hard to fault this place- I love it.

s.Love it there. Became our special spot with couple of colleagues. Nice coffee and great staff who does understand English yeyy ! I even sat for hours for work, coffee and lunch. Walking distance to the beach and shops. Lots of parking spots.

T.Great place to get a quick bite. There is a vegan menu which is awesome! They make an amazing vegan hot chocolate with coconut milk. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
R.My only disappointment here was I ordered a green salad and, after looking at the menu again, realized I had got a seasonal green salad. The makeup of the salads being quite different. As I had an appointment to get to, and the service wasn't exactly fast, I didn't say anything at the time. I think there should be some renaming of one of the menu items to stop this mix up happening.
The food and coffee were good, and would be willing to go again.
S.Soulshine has recently changed ownership. The new vegan menu (which is in addition to their non vegan menu) is much more comprehensive and very thoughtful. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely. It's a huge step up on the previous cafe. Definitely check them out if you're in Browns Bay.

M.Everything was great. Fresh fruit and yummy granola. Extra soy milk goes very well with it. They have a vegan menu, which was great.
J.Lovely friendly retro style laid back vibe cafe with excellent coffee. I am vegan and their jelly tip cheese cake and almond milk flat white coffee were exceptional. Now my new local cafe to meet friends or have alone time
N.Nice little restaurant in the heart of Browns Bay. Very popular with locals and visitors. Good selection of food. Coffee was very strong. Dog friendly in the covered outside seating area. Lamb stack was lovely and a reasonable portion.

f.Nice relaxed cafe in Brown Bay. Good vegan menu as well loved the granola, and plenty of mushrooms on the mushroom dish. Also has a loo - good place to stop
J.Was really excited to find vegan options. The servers were super friendly and the kitchen accommodating for our two year old. However, we were really disappointed after seeing the deliciousness of the regular burger come out to another table, only for us to be served a mushy vegan bean burger with little flavour other than beans. This was served between two very sad pieces of gluten free bread (not even a burger bun) that would never have held up if we attempted to eat it as a burger is intended, with our hands. Vegan doesn’t mean gluten free, so perhaps an option of a real bun could be considered. For what we paid, compared to other vegan spots, this was unfortunately not worth our dollars. We are still super excited for the vegan options and think that with some adjustments to the burger recipe, and providing a decent bun, it can be a great addition to what looks like a yummy menu and a really friendly atmosphere.
T.My first experience at Soulshine Cafe was an adventurous one, I was sat down at a table without much interaction with any employees yet..... I was starting to worry I was about to have an hour with terrible customer service, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was absolutely incorrect. Out of no where a strapping young lad named Heath came out to serve my table. I was almost knocked back off my seat, this boy could have been the child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Angelina Jolie, the looks, the ripped body and a charming personality. I’ll be coming back just for him, the food was average.

R.There is food for all kinds of people and different budgets. Staff is really friendly and the place has a family feel. Some nice sugar free pastry as well. Love the atmosphere and the seventies furniture. Great place to sit outside in summer underneath the roof.

S.Lol, I asked for a kids hot chocolate TA , a triple shot long black and a triple shot mocha both TA. I got a kids hot choc a long black and a cappuccino lol. Obviously a little miscommunication. Coffee was lovely. Service was warm and professional. Auro of Cafè was very cool, and music choice was lovely. :), colour choice is really nice too. Reminds me of those orange amps you can buy for guitars and basses etc.
