Reviews of Sugar at Chelsea Bay
C.
Beautiful cafe tucked away on the edge of the harbour. Excellent atmosphere and friendly staff.
Plenty of space, whether inside or outside, with a playground for the kids. The coffee was divine and the food was reasonably good with respectively fair prices.
Plenty of parking available. Well worth checking this cafe out!

Outstanding. I would suggest asking about ingredients though. My companion ordered the fried chicken thinking “southern fried,” but sadly for him it was not. His fault completely, but oh well. Piccolo was on point. Bathrooms available and certainly a child friendly environment. Loved the online ordering system , definitely a plus.

Great spot for brunch. Kitchen wasnt open today but there was plenty for brunch! Good ambiance and freshly baked goods.

Good food & nice views across the harbour while you're eating.
After food, take a walk around the lake & along the shore line.
Plenty of parking & looked very kid friendly too.

Wowser. Turned up here pretty spontaneously, it was super busy, but the parking is awesome and easy. After a short wait we got a table. Extremely nice coffee, really good food.
This would bea great place for families, as there is a nice playground, walks and even the tour of the sugar factory. Totally recommended.

It's a beautiful location with great views. There is an outdoor space where you can bring a dog along to as well. The menu has a good mix of options and was really nicely presented. I went on a Friday morning and it was quite quiet at 9. There are some nice walks you can do around the cafe as well.

Outstanding service as always from the team at Sugar. The food was amazing and the coffee was brewed with great skill.
The Tumeric Latte was delicious

A spur of the moment mid-week lunch visit when we were nearby. Pretty busy on a rainy weekday, so it must be smashed on the weekends. Food was amazing though, the chicken Benedict was absolutely decadent with perfectly cooked eggs. And the blood orange lamington 🤤

Loved the food, environment and awesome view of Auckland skyline

The food here looks pretty good but lacks flavour. The burger was just ok, meat cooked well but didn’t have much seasoning. The Pork Benedict Bao was similarly lacking taste but the donut was pretty good.
