My friend lives in the area and he recommended this cafe. Food is absolutely delicious. I had the mushrooms on toast and they kindly replaced the bacon with a fresh side salad as I am vegetarian. My friend had the vanilla custard donut which he says is the best in Auckland. Service was friendly and fast and the toilets and cafe were spotless. The ambience is quiet, relaxed and casual, with comfy seats and decor, making it perfect to catch up with friends. 100% recommend.

Love our local cafe! Before lockdown we enjoyed going there in the weekends for breakfast or lunch. Absolutely delicious! Staff have always been polite and courteous. They are my go to for my morning coffee! Highly recommend and let's support our local cafe :-)

Our local Cafe, service is always friendly and feels warm. Portions are generous, we love coming here for their pancakes. They are awesome, coffees too. Love it!

Mother and I stopped in here for lunch. I had really good scrambled eggs. The bacon was yum too. My mother had children Fili which she said was good. We finished off sharing lime cheesecake which was excellent. I really enjoyed my coffee as well Flat Bush is lucky to have this good cafe on its doorstep.

While pricing may be bit high, the food that I had on this occasion was delicious. The cooking style is a homely professional style. For example, the confectioner's custard is real. Not commercially purchased ready made. Nice While many will like it, and I did her savoury scones are made with lemonade. Not my first choice but still nice. The texture was perfect. Highly recommend them.

Great environment such a breezy and tranquil atmosphere. Cajun Avocado Chicken Sandwich - $19.50 - so can be expensive depending on your perspective.

Cute and cosy cafe - great find in Flat Bush! loved the creamy mushroom and the coffee was lovely. Staff were also friendly. Parking is available. I would definitely like to come back if I'm in the area.

Food was good, small portion size for the amount you're paying. The meal was served promptly, was tasty, however they forgot our smoothies, and only made them when we asked at the end of our meal. Also not easy I would call a smoothie, it was more of a milkshake. The area is good, had plenty of parks and good decor.

I have been to every cafe where it was rated high with my wife in Auckland and this place has best coffee and food. Like this cafe name, texture of the coffee and food is there with taste. Open space with about 13~15 tables inside and out side. On a beautiful day, this place is the best place to go and have a breakfast or lunch with you loved ones. My wife loves this place. That's 10 stars. :)

Yum! Finally tried this local café. Had the smashed avo on toast 👌 with Peppermint tea. Filling and deelicious! Support local and definitely recommend.

Was nice - highlight was the custard doughnut. Creamy mushroom was not bad. Hubby had the big brekkie. Will go again and try something else. Wish they had a dairy free option for smoothies.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Auckland. But my fave in Flat Bush. Their cinnamon is to-die-for. It’s a very tidy and homey cafe!!! Love their barista coffee and the staff who greet you with smiles and friendly faces!😊👍😊

My local cafe and it has always had great food, coffee and service. Unfortunately, today the fish was very far from fresh and my wife didn't get her soup until the rest of the table were nearly finished our orders .Hopefully just a hiccup in a very good cafe.

First breakfast in NZ and it did not disappoint. It's a pleasant, airy space, with delicious food that is plated like a dream! Iced coffee was just right and the service was fast and friendly!

Given the context of this café, in a cluster of new build houses in a new subdivision, I was ready to be resignedly disappointed but I was, in fact, pleasantly surprised. The coffee (flat white) was good. My selection of Eggs Benedict on Fried Chicken and Potato Rosti was, I thought, an ambitious menu option for a quiet suburban kitchen at mid-morning on a Tuesday. However everything seemed cooked to order and if there was anything re-heated then it was done well enough to fool me. The fried chicken had a pleasing crunch to the coating. The eggs poached perfectly. The Hollandaise was a tad lemony. The rosti was a touch coarse and a bit crispy for my taste. The space was quiet and sunny. The aesthetic mixed. Two kinds of tables, hipster bare wood and normie formica. The addition of antiqued wall decor odd in an otherwise dialled down, stripped back, spot. It felt like a new owner had taken on someone else's vision and started moving in a different direction. The service was friendly and efficient. This unpretentious café in Flat Bush rose high above my unreasonably low expectations. 5 out of 5 for Flat Bush. Thank you.

Had an awesome breakfast to start the day! Handmade cakes are so tasty, can't find them at anywhere else around the area. + super kids friendly. Recommended to all.

First visit for brunch since new owners.i am disabled and use a portable scooter- plenty of room. Small menu but very adequate. Lovely staff- very obliging. If you feel like coffee or a meal please visit them

Fantastic coffee and great food

26Oct16 This café has new owners since 2015 when my wife and I had lunch here with our three year old granddaughter and a couple from our Salvation Army church Corps in Otahuhu. The café has a small reserved area out of the way in a corner with toys for little children. Good except that next to the area there is a door opening out to one of the parking areas and it can be hard to see your child when other customers are sitting at tables between you and the area. Good menu, good kitchen and reasonable service last year. Plenty of tables. Will update this information shortly after another visit.

I work in this area and this is the best cafe in Flat Bush area I would say. I have just had a good breakfast there. I have been for lunch a few times. Its a cafe not a restaurant, but quality pretty good I think. Staff nice. Good location. Good not to be in a chain cafe for a change.

Lovely little cafe, didn't eat but the coffee was really good, nice and strong with a good thick cremer on top. Staff really lovely, will return.

Staff are lovely but just not happy with the coffee. There isn't much flavour to the coffee and they serve single shot coffees for $4.50 which is a bit overpriced I feel.
