One of the best cakes I’ve eaten. I’ve got this cake for my birthday 2 times it’s just that good. The fresh cream and mango goes so well together. I 100% recommend this place for cakes to anyone, especially if you’re looking for cakes that aren’t too sweet.

Just as good as I remembered. I got the Tiramisu and Opera slab. And the blackforest has always been my favorite. Quality cakes and never disappoints

Always came here for tiny cakes. Ordered a birthday cake for my eldest daughter. Its was absolutely divine, totally blew my diet it. We all loved it. Tasted as good as it looks

Such a lovely Cafe to sit down and enjoy our coffee, and even had a couple of delicious slices with our drinks too. Staff were great and service was perfect, we will definitely be returning. Thanks guys!

Yum yum yum... this is my dream place, with so many great deserts to choose from. They are done to perfection and look amazing. We had a moose cake, Donut type bread, almond thing, and the black forest cake. All of them were delicious. The restaurant was great with loads of tables and really nice setup. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Prices are high but you pay for quality here and you get quality. Large cakes for parties or just passing and want a small treat... this is the place.

The cake is still delicious, but why does the cake box no longer have handles? It is particularly difficult to hold.The outside of the box is slippery, and it can easily fall without a handle. It is highly recommended to provide a box with a handle.

Unbelievably delicious cakes and excellent coffee. Not cheap but if you feel you deserve a treat then this is where you should go!

Well decorated dessert cafe, a good place to catch up over something sweet. We bought the mango fresh cream cake takeaway and it was delish. Well balanced, soft sponge that is not soggy and beautiful presented. Yum

Got Hot Chocolate with Almond Praline & Opera Slice. Great drink and slices although my wife wanted to microwave the Opera Slice for 10-15 secs to make it but warm and soft but surprisingly they didn't have a MICROWAVE there which is bit surprising. Maybe they should think a bit more about people eating in .

Lovely presentation of the beautiful cakes. Friendly staff. I bought a chocolate mud cake which looked wonderful. Sadly, for any real chocolate lover, I found the taste disappointing.

Ok first things first, if you want a complete meal with something savoury or a salad, this is not the place. What they focus on are desserts and their desserts are great! You may find that their cakes are not as sweet as most cafes make them (too sweet). Awesome balance between sweetness and flavour. I highly recommend blueberry yogurt cake, but really all their desserts (I have tried about 80% of them) are nice. Try them :)

Gorgeous cakes by the slice, artistic full cakes, and great coffee. Staff are lovely. Drove all the way from West Auckland to get their cakes. Wonderful.

The absolute best Chocolate Mousse Cake, ordered the night before, and was ready the next day! Confirmed by my chocolate connoisseur partner, we can’t wait to try more cakes from their store.

Great place to grab a flash looking cake. Tastes great too. My wife and I always buy our cake from Gateau. Their cakes tastes great. The presentation is elegant. Prices not too bad. This branch looks elegant. It is so neat. The sweets are always well presented. Will definitely continue to buy cakes from here as long as every thing remains consistent or even become better.
