Great service. Very nice pies. Warm cafe' in main street. O would recommend this cafe's to travellers.

We were in a hurry so got pie and cheese roll. Pie had been in the warmer forever and I threw it away. Cheese roll was $3 and terrible. However the bowls of chips being served were huge and looked very good. I wish I had been patient and ordered the chips instead.

Lovely place to have your breakfast here enroute to Dunedin ! Located in Balcultha, a small town, this cafe offers the best coffee and fried eggs. Strongly recommended !

Stopped by here on our was through. Ordered coffee and hot chips. The place was pretty busy but didn’t take too long to get our order. Unfortunately the coffee was very bitter and the foam was very bubbly. The chips were quite nice though. It felt a bit sterile in terms of decor and was very cold. Everyone had their jackets on and the heat pump was off. I probably won’t come back in a hurry.

Decent coffee place . The prices are pretty reasonable as well. The best thing about it is that the cafe is open till late evening (around 5-ish) My mates tried their food and it is not too bad.

Had fish,chips,salad,asked for eggs but girl forgot.$20 for plate of fish,chips, salad. Way over priced.(where I'm from it's only $15 for fish,chips,salad and 2 eggs,absolutely lovely).was hungry so I ate my plate.otherwise awesome surroundings, awsome staff.i just think,if we are paying good money to eat,then good food should be served from the Heart and the Soul literally..cheers

Been here 3 times... First two experiences were good but the third dissapointed the three of us.. Very oily chips and a very dry chicken panini with a little bit of brie and a small swirl of cranberry sauce. However wedges and a smothie is a very good choice

I am literally still waiting at this very moment 45 minutes later after ordering one coffee and one panini which was already made and just sitting in the cold case. It’s slightly busy but not slammed. I’ve asked twice what the issue is whiteout any real reason. I understand it’s a small town place using young students for staff but honestly there’s so reason for the complete lack of professional output.
