C.Amazing cafe. Great coffee and friendly service, but most importantly, banging food. The mushrooms were hands down the best I've had! And the french toast was top notch too. Honestly really refined cuisine at a decent price, would highly recommend and will be returning myself next time I'm in Blenheim. 10/5!!!

K.Lovely spot for breakfast, our group had the french toast, mushrooms and smashed avo which were all delicious. Coffee was top notch and the staff were lovely and friendly. Overall a warm and welcoming spot, perfect for warming up on a cold winter morning. We look forward to returning next time we're in Blenheim!

C.Great café, delicious food and excellent coffee and service! What else do you need? Had the Buddha bowl and the garden pesto. Honestly it was hard to choose what to have there were so many great choices.
Only thing to note for those with little ones is there doesn't seem to be a change table but the bathroom is nice and big.
M.I visited this Café twice over the last weekend while visiting friends. On both occasions the food was delicious - I tried the eggs benedict and the French toast. The staff were also very friendly and the coffee was great so I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Blenheim.
D.Fantastic, surely one of the best coffees in town. Great wholesome food made with a lot of love and attention, with the finest, freshest ingredients. Loved the local Marlborough grown pine nuts, their house cured local salmon, and the goats halloumi. The house made hollandaise with tumeric was fantastic also as was the home made sauerkraut. These guys are really passionate about their craft and it shows.
J.This was one of the best cafes we’ve been to in a long time! The flat white was spot on and the food was excellent - my wife had the mushrooms and I had the seafood chowder. The staff were very friendly and interacted with our kids which was nice to see. We will definitely be be back next time we’re in Blenheim.

G.Really nice little place, good coffee! I had the Acai bowl and there wasn’t much granola, it was only really sprinkled on the side and the rest was a lot of frozen berry purée. Still yummy but not quite what I was expecting

T.I came here for breakfast, and it was delicious. The wait was quite long but they handled it fine, and asked my family if we wanted something sweet to take with us on the way as an apology for the wait, which was very nice. The breakfast I had was the Eggs Benedict, and it was very good. One thing I would like to mention is the hollandaise because its freshly made, and the eggs are nicely done. The $19 price is completely reasonable, considering the amount of bacon. The reason why I'm not rating it 5 stars is simply because of the time, even though it had an apology. My Berry Buster smoothie was pretty good, but to be honest it could've had better presentation, and probably could've been nicer. However I would still reccomend this nice cafe. 👍

Such an awesome cafe! The kids area is awesome for little ones. Food was delicious and well priced, coffee was really good to! Got a second one. It was very busy when we went in but the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Despite how busy it was our food came out in good time and we didn’t have a long wait :)

Some places in Blenheim can be modelled on franchises that have worked elsewhere, sometimes tacky. Not this place, all class.

V.A good coffee that is smooth and drinkable is a rare thing but these guys nailed it! Nice smoothie too. They were busy but staff were friendly and service was fantastic.

L.Delicious smashed avocado and raw dessert my first visit, but I returned a few days ago and did not enjoy my breakfast at all. The "sourdough" did not taste or look like sourdough and unfortunately I did not like it. Combined with limp bacon, one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a while.(hence I lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars).

A.Awesome cafe delivering the best coffee in town and amazing wholesome seasonal food, most of which is grown locally. I had a coconut latte and Gf Df Turmeric slice every day we were in town, totally delicious! Sweet play area for children, where our son slept as our daughter played. Go there!
B.We loved popping in for a simple yet wonderful breakfast n absolutely superb coffee. The interior is lovely: fresh n at the same time cosy. Balsamic mushroom brekkie was full of flavor n filling. Stuff super friendly n helpful. Loved our find....we'll be back!!!

D.Herb + Olive is one of those cafes that just got it right, in all ways.
When I came in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, it looks incresibly clean and tidy, it has just the right music at the right volume to sit down and read a book over a coffee, or chat to some of the others.
I noticed everyone already had food or coffee; a good sign that service is efficient. Everyone looked happy, so it must taste good too.
Putting that to the test, the coffee is amazing, while I thought as a Wellingtonian that only the capital has premium coffees: nice surprise.
The food, with ingredients all organically and/or locally sourced, was absolutely fantastic.
Herb + Olive combine big town flavours and service standards with a small town hospitable and friendly approach.
Summing it up, it's the best place in the northern South Island to go for food, coffee in a great atmosphere!

T.As out of towners, H+O appeared online as the only cafe that seemed to care about their space. Upon entering, you are shown immediate attention from staff, which is great, I hate feeling unwanted.
The Kokako coffee is prepared by an excellent barista, made so irresistible, I required an immediate second. The food is well considered, proportional with well appointed pricing. Overall, the best you’ll likely find in the Heim.
