s.My partner and I had the best Scottish breakfast yesterday.
Every mouthful was tasty and hot. The pot of tea complimented our breakfast.

S.We ordered cinnamon scrolls,veg curry pie and sausage roll along with coffees.The food was good,fresh and we enoyed our breakfast on crisp Saturday morning,even ordered the cinnamon scroll twice.The owner is warm and friendly.Will go there again :)
t.Really lovely, friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. Absolutely perfect, will be recommending to family and friends for sure!
B.If you want to feel like you're having a meal or coffee with your family this is the place to go. I've been there with my partner and on my own and I felt welcome both times. I'm not sure if it's a family run business but it definitely feels like it.

L.Ran into Bunrunners while I was waiting for my partner. Great Mango Lassi - unfortunately, no vegetarian pies were available. I was happy to see two options on their display (as veggie pie shops usually still don't realize the rise in vegetarian eating). Sadly none of them were available to eat. The chef was barging in while customers were ordering, asking quite brutally if we wanted anything from the kitchen - a tad hostile for such a small space.
Overall, not bad but not a place I'd go out of my way to visit 🥧

M.100% positive taste experience every time with this lovely cafe, situated on the perimeter of the 4 avenues. The coffee and food are GREAT, Daniel and his team are friendly, efficient and helpful, and the bonus is I can always get a park (not the case closer to town!) Definitely recommend this as your local!

L.Such a great ambience a wee cafe from the past. Clean, quick and friendly. Hubby and I went this morning he had full Scottish Breakfast(haggis, bacon, eggs, black pudding, tattie scones, Lorne sausage and sourdough bread. I had the vege Scottish breakfast. Tempeh, spinach, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, tattie scone and sour dough bread. 10 out of 10 for taste and size. I’m a Scottish Lass so know a good Scottish breaky when I taste one. Took me back to My childhood. You get a good amount for $20 plus change.
C.This has to be one of the best and tastiest pies I've had. The sweet muffin was amazing too, no need to add butter. Would recommend this place for a yummy lunch.
B.Excellent cooking. Can recommend the roast pork. Perfect crackling, perfect apple sauce. So yum.

P.Some of the best pies I've had in Christchurch. Really love the chicken pesto one. Also tried their haggis today on a breakfast sandwich and its fantastic. Homemade too! Daniel and the staff are super friendly and the cafe has a nice cosy feel. Definitely worth a stop.
M.Great place with excellent customer service; so cheerful even when they're at their busiest. Very refreshing. The food is great as well. I only had a pie, but it was awesome! They do 100% organic coffee (I'll try this next time) and use free-range eggs and the like.
Just dropped a star for me as the interior and branding is a bit 'canteen' like and it's a little cramped and noisy for me to stay there for lunch; so I just go for a takeaway.

R.Brilliant filled rolls and a lovely breakfast. The chef is a warm and friendly individual and made us feel completely at home. A braw cafe for Scot and non-Scot alike. Will be back for the tattie scone alone.
d.On a recent visit to Christchurch this little cafe soon became my favourite stop on my early morning walks, great little potato top pies( should win an award) excellent service and a great place to read the morning paper
L.An absolute gem. Three daily hot dishes. Cakes galore. Proper sandwiches including big rolls packed with good stuff. Beef chilli pie is my secret weapon.
Staff obviously happy and greet regulars by name.
