Reviews of Doubles
L.We popped into Doubles for breakfast today. Super friendly staff, quick to order. Coffee top notch. We had the sweet and savoury Croffles, and were very happy with the food. Very generous with the chicken! Be prepared to skip lunch if you tackle these.
We'll definitely be back to give the cabinet food a try, which almost looked too good to eat!

I.Breakfast and coffee were bloody delicious, I had waffles with fried chicken and my partner had the biggest pile of avocado and mushrooms on toast I have ever seen. Almost too much to eat, almost....

A.Perhaps one of the best kept secrets of the chch cafe scene at the moment, Doubles really breathes life back into the Worcester Boulevard cafe scene.
They use Allpress coffee, so if you like a darker roast coffee, this is the place for you. The food is simply outstanding and surprisingly refined, with very careful attention to details. From the Hasami porcelain plates, to the colour coordination of decor, Doubles is an excellent addition to Christchurch.
C.The best brunch in Christchurch! Must try their croffle (croissant waffle) with citrus marscapone and maple walnut crumble. We also had the club champ with poached eggs and crispy potato rosti. Soooo yummy!

Services is great and coffee is even better!
Plus their muffins (sweet and Savory) change every day. I am yet to walk past and not crave one!
S.We stopped at the Doubles for a quick caffein recharge in between the art gallery and the museum, and it was such a lovely experience. Their interior was perfect to enjoy the sunshine with beautiful breeze, their allpress coffee was yum! And, such lovely staff!
L.Stopped in for lunch on Friday. Start of the long weekend however it wasn't overly busy. Ordered a soy chai (which was delicious) and poached eggs on toast (the double yolk on the menu). The latte was brought to me super quick however I waited for about 40 mins for the food! The owner did give me a slice to apologize however I'm not sure I would go back due to the really slow service. The food was pretty good, lovely bread used and the eggs were cooked just to my liking so that's a positive!
B.Quick friendly service and delicious food and coffee made venturing to doubles a great way to start the day. Quite a few vegan options and a great range of milks for the plant based crew! Will most certainly be making this my usual when in the area.
