Awesome coffee every time. These guys are always friendly and happy to help and I'm a bit suspicious of some of the 1 star reviews. The crema on the long black I got yesterday was awesome and silky and they fussed over the finer points of how much hot water etc. Probably the best treatment of what Underground Coffee can be.

One of the best coffee in town. The guys are very friendly. Loved their service, location and seating arrangement in front of it.

Great coffee. Very friendly people. Always busy so must be doing something very right. I've read some of the below posts ...not sure about the mouldy sandwiches I've been a regular here for the past 5 years and have never seen sandwiches for sale.....Very suspicious rating I would Highly recommend them.

The best coffee I ever had. Having em every morning. Highly recommended. For the person with the 1 star reviews need to start schooling over again as he doesn’t understand the fact that the coffee supposed to be hot and you have to be patient if you actually wanna enjoy it. Honestly one of the best cappuccino's i ever had here in Christchurch and great service too,and a special regard to the 1 star reviewer,coffe is brewed hot,unless you put ice in it at least wait... don't write bad reviews just because you're not pay attention ;-)

This is quite excellent coffee, super service, and the biscuits and pastries are handmade! Enjoy the super location, the comfy chairs, the sunshine, and people watching in Cathedral Square.

I think this cafe is best in city. I read reviews. funny things are some people left bad review. those are not true. Their coffee are hot and strong. they dont sell sundwich and burger.

Love it! The coffee is fantastic and the guys who make it are lovely people. This is always our first destination when we go for a walk in the city centre.
