m.Nice bakery but the salads could be nicer with Cauliflower. Row broccoli was little bit odd to us. But the source was great. Pies are excellent. Love to visit sometime. :)

Tip of the week, get in early morning for a croissant of the day, as they sell out quick! So cool having a top bakery in Wigram Skies. Thanks Will and team for your amazing baking.

Food & coffee's arrived in good time, hot & all dishes were fantastic & beautifully presented.
Waitress was very pleasant & cabinet food looked very fresh & tasty.

K.The best almond croissants I've EVER tasted (better even than Paris!!!), and just the most incredible customer service in the world. I had a special request and the team went above and beyond to make it work. 10/10 can't get enough.
L.Best butter milk scones. Fairlie pies , plus their own brand pies. Plus so much more. Bonus is great coffee. Parking outside is plentiful, staff pleasant
T.Amazing food!!
I’ve been here twice and loved the food. My friend had the chilli eggs. So so good if you like spicy food. The eggs were creamy and the cheese on top of it was the perfect touch. I had the eggs benny however it was missing the sauce which was the only problem I had with it.
The brioche cinnamon bun is also worth trying. Soft and sweet!
S.The owner Will and his staff are friendly, fast and great at what they do. The food is delicious and the creativity coming out of Le Bakerman is amazing. The inventive croissants are well worth a visit as well as all the other menu items available. We follow them on Instagram and their photos show what great stuff they produce.
E.Cool new cafe in Wigram! Great range of drinks and food, and priced very reasonably. We brought the family here a few weekends ago for brunch and left thoroughly pleased with the experience. Staff members were extremely pleasant and friendly to deal with.

K.Yum! Love coming to this cafe for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea. They make a great coffee. Pic below is the “I’m so eggstatic” great value and I love that it comes with the potato hash as well some house made bread.
The daily donuts and croissants are amazing too.
B.Delicious pastries and cakes, best to get in early in the morning to get the pastries fresh and avoid any selling out.

M.Have been in to LeBakerman Cafe and Bakery a few times now. Pretty much just for a takeaway coffee and a sneaky sausage roll! The food looks really nice most times and the staff are very friendly and helpful most often than not. Coffee is good! My last visit I had a look at the hot cabinet for my weekly sausage roll fix. $4.50 for a small and $6.50 for what they call a jumbo. It appeared to me like the small size that I normally get were getting smaller in size so I purchased a jumbo one. Looked in the bag and swore they had given me a small but apparently jumbo sized. Will post a photo. Maybe I'm just out of touch of what cafes are charging now but I was left a little disappointed at being charged $6.50 when I possibly couldve gone elsewhere and got more bang for my buck. Nice sausage roll though :)

C.The neighbouring shops imply that LBakermen will be very ordinary but don't be fooled. Good coffee, excellent sweet treats and the meals we saw looked very good. A pleasantly surprising cafe and I'll be going again.
M.I love their croissant. It always fresh and tasty. The cheesecake is also excellent. You must arrive early because the cabinets go empty quickly. The coffee itself isn't bad, but it could be better, taste better.
C.Such a wonderful cafe..the baked goods are AMAZING.. Definitely try the cinnabun(YUM!) but what makes this place even better is the really lovely staff... What an amazing bunch:)

P.The most amazing Cafe I have had a pleasure of visiting. The stuff they make is out of this world. Should definitely check out there insta as well to see all the cool french pastries that they make. They have a bit of a kiwi twist which makes them so fun. The owner is really chill and down to earth so it is no wonder he makes such cool stuff. Best croissants I have ever had. Definitely recommend.

M.So hear me out, I'm on break in halswell and this is the only bakery close by.
I'll take a swing, get there and there pies cost $7.5 and my first reaction was f me thats a lot. One pepper steak pie later and I was caught off guard at how good this was, the pie was filled with steak I was blown away by far the best pies I've had to date as a tradie. Worth every cent and I'll be back for more

Z.I recommend this place for very good coffee and pastries and croissants. Sitting is a bit tight during peak time, otherwise it is a good place to have a bite at a table. Well organise and very clean outlet. Good job.
T.Lovely wee spot on the edge of the big wigram build. Busy carpark, but usually able to find a spot.
They stock fairlie pies! Yum. There's a broccoli salad that I love to get and the sweet treats are so good. Definitely a great selection, on the pricier side but worth it.

T.Amazing bakery! So unique and cute, best coffees ever and I absolutely love the matcha latte (must try for green tea fans!). Their food is great as well, with some unique twists here and there, for example their salted caramel miso cake slices!! Yum! Love this place, would definitely recommend!
R.They are one of the best pie shops in Chch. They used to have great coffees, however after their reopen after the lockdown, their coffees are not as good as before. I’m ready to revised this review if they can improve their coffees.
B.First time around at this place and had a glance at the pie price and thought, far out!!!! That's steep.
Bought a steak and cheese, enjoyed it and thought, I'll pay that again and again because that was the best s&c i had in Christchurch.

J.Really delicious food at extremely reasonable prices and in large servings too - personally I have very savoury tastebuds but the incredible selection of tasty desserts here definitely turned me around. We kept going back to the counter to get more cream puffs and buns. They also stock the worldwide famous pies from Fairlie, which is a big plus. Great service too! Also, not a lot of places in Christchurch make cold brew coffee, and I can tell that the Brazilian drip coffee at LeBakermen is sourced from good quality beans - very flavourful, slightly chocolatey, sweet, smooth and refreshing. Highly recommend and will be back many, many times.
s.Small place, feels all crunched up and sitting very close to next table. Wide ranging selection of desserts, they even sell Asian puffs which is impressive! Reasonable price, reasonable size, pretty busy around lunch time. High chair available.
S.I've been stalking these guys on FB and decided to pop down today. We had the plain croissant, a Fairlie pie and their matcha filled croissant. OMG the croissants are like they are straight outta France. They are SO GOOD. Nice and crispy with a slightly sticky dark golden top and endless layers on the inside. Flakey deliciousness! We will definitely be back.

M.Their Fairlie pies are the best I've ever tasted. They make their own pepper steak and chicken & mushroom pies that are just as good too. Wall to wall meat. Be careful, once you've had a pie here you won't want one from anywhere else.

M.Good smoothies, and they were happy to make it in my keep cup for a takeaway order. Counter food didn't have any vegan options, but there is on the menu. There are lots if vegetarian option. Will be going back, and eat in next time.

A.One of the things im looking forward to every saturday before going to work. Just love their coffee, probably the best ive had in christchurch. Their pastries are so good. Would highly recommend this shop. Wish they'll be open for longer hours though.
