E.So I visited for the first time today and wow!! Over the last 2 years I've made it a mission to try as many different cafes as possible around christchurch and this is my fav!! Super cute, relaxing, comfy couches. Will bring a book next time :) p
k.Great new cafe opened up in merivale. Very friendly staff, awesome coffee, and furry friends welcome. Also doing alcohol and nibbles in am evening which I cannot wait to go back and try.
Just a lovely, relaxed setting and not to noisy. Well worth a visit, add to your list.

F.Wow, best coffee I've had in Christchurch, which is saying something! Really lovely vibe in this cool little cafe, with a warm welcome - feels like a little Italian espresso bar. Perfect for a coffee and chat, or for reading your book, or for a drink with friends. Recommended! Plus, 🐕 friendly.
A.six ounces is the place to be. Love the coffee and cakes, and now the wine and cheese too! The atmosphere is gorgeous, and fitting for any event or time. The menu is fab, and if you can't decide what you want the staff absolutely know their stuff and will blow your socks off. Gorgeous cafe and gorgeous people. Christchurch is lucky to have six ounces.
s.Cozy wee shop, warm and friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Great for a quiet early morning coffee and some pastries. Interior decor is chic and the shop is dog friendly. Will definitely visit again.
V.It's a fantastic place and the nutella hot chocolate and the food is delicious. (Reviewed by my 7yo son)
Also though, as an adult, coffee is consistently banging. The sweet treats are divine and love me a salami sammy. My fave coffee fix.
E.This place was quite a find. It's not all that new, but is now opening 6 days a week mornings to evenings. A wine bar/ cafe serving cheese boards etc, all in a homely, sightly weathered atmosphere with mix and match older furniture and wine etc on display on shelves.
T.Great cool place to get excellent coffee and amazing custom grazing meat/cheese boards. Great knowledgeable staff and relaxed vibes.

C.Best place for date night in town. The wine list is unreal and the cheese boards were easy to customise, and very generous! I just love the atmosphere at sixounces, and it's even more magical at night!

R.What a beautiful new space to sit an enjoy delicious coffee. Plus the cafe puppy Brixton is adorable!! If you want delicious coffee, a yummy bite to eat, a comfortable stylish environment, high quality service AND puppy snuggles, this is the place to go! Will definitely be going back soon.

T.Merivale is now complete! If you are discerning about your coffee waltz no further, this is the place. Accompany that with a simply delicious sandwich, I recommend the goats cheese and red onion jam, some snazzy beats and couches to loose yourself in - get in!
M.A very beautiful cafe and a super friendly environment. Avi and Lois are always keen for a chat and Brixton is always keen for a cuddle or a scratch behind the ears. The coffee is brilliant and the food is top notch (essential to try the goats cheese sammie, crave it pretty much 24/7 since I first tried it). A perfect location to meet with friends, get some work done (wifi is super speedy) or just come in for some food and some puppy cuddles. I don't think I've been to another cafe in chch since they opened!!
