C.This is our first time to this cafe. The food came shortly after we ordered it. The portion was slightly larger than what I expected. It tasted great. The coffee was ok. I had no complains. 😊4 stars 🖖
海.From outside it looks like a normal cafe with standard food, but after you get your order you will be surprised by how exquisite the food is! We ordered from the breakfast menu, and each of the dish tastes delish! The quality of salmon, the toast and even the hash browns ate above average! Not to mention you can get a peek view of the classic tram from the cozy space. Oh and the muffin is so moisture and soft , full of the smell of raspberries in a bite. I’ll definitely visit again!
B.Beautiful cheese and ham toastie! Wow, great price with heaps of melted gooey goodness on fresh baked bread. The service was good and fast. Highly recommended.
Z.This would have to be one of my best café experiences in Christchurch. Super-friendly service, brilliant coffee (strong, but smooth) and the food was outstanding in taste and presentation. Pictured is the creamy mushrooms (after I'd started eating it), which I can't recommend highly enough. There's also a nice outlook over the Avon River.

D.Good coffee, fast service and staff are always really friendly. On the main drag of hereford and oxford so it is nice seeing the tram roll past as you have your drink. And there are always interesting characters around. If you want reliable good coffee this a place to go.
T.Nice cosy cafe with a nice outdoor area on the Avon. I had the fantastic Eggs Benedict and a beautiful capachino. Would definitely go here again great for a nice well made brunch.
b.I had a wonderful experience here. Light jazz atmosphere over looking the Avon river and the busy Oxford Terrace walk path. The eggs Benedict has the most beautiful crispy bread with cold salmon and hot eggs. Beautiful coffee too.

S.This is a fantastic cafe coffee shop, home made food with plenty of normal food options and vegan and vegetarian options centrally located in the centre of town with a beautiful vista of the Avon River indoor outdoor seating . Highly recommend this great cafe.

V.Amazing, amazing food, and the friendliest staff, seriously hit the spot for all of us, the french toast, hash browns, mushrooms, waffles all of it was amazing. Really nice ambience in the cafe too, lovely place.
D.Went in for a quick breakfast. Only one other table occupied and we only ordered eggs and waffles. Wait for the food was about 20 minutes. Food was excellent and staff friendly.

A.Very clean, very friendly, great food, and awesome coffee.
I had scrambled eggs on multigrain with salmon. Absolutely perfect.
Others at the table had avocado on sourdough which was enormous.
Also bacon on toast with poached eggs which was equally enormous.
Will be coming back.

G.Excellent coffee although quite a wait and not really busy. Unfortunately can't say the same about our poached eggs. Overcooked if we had wanted hard boiled eggs we would have asked for them. Very disappointing and in hindsight should have requested they do them again but had already waited long enough.

m.What a find, it's rare to find an unassuming cafe with such high quality food and coffee. Service wasnt speedy but that's perfectly acceptable when the end result is some of the freshest tastiest avocado on toast I've ever had. All of the cabinet food looked excellent also.

B.I go there regularly (approx once a fortnight) and enjoyed my time there. Nice coffee ☕ (Latte), good atmosphere and delicious food 😋. Enough said. You need to try it out. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy throughout and has a reasonable view on the Avon River.

The food is good value, you can get cheap or pricey. It's nice they have a no frills options. These people won't stop you being able to afford a house due to $20 smashed avo on toast. They usually have deals/specials.
Good cabinet selection. Coffee is fine and service works well
On a side note, these guys are usually open when no one else is. Early mornings. Late. Weekends or holidays, they'll be open. Which is a nice touch in Christchurch in city.

A.I wouldn't say it's an overly 'unique' experience or niche cafe. Pretty stock standard, food is a bit pricy for what it is and the coffee has been pretty average every time I've been there.
A.We forgot our creditcard in our car. We've got coffee first and then we went back to the car and drove back to pay. In Holland that would never happend. Fantastic friendly people!
