J.I have been here a few times, the coffee is excellent! The food is really good quality, well presented and delicious!! I would comment the cabinet food is a little lacking in choice, if you want a quick lunch not the best place to go.
I don't usually put 3 stars and this would have been 4 however I found on my last visit I was made to feel a little unwelcome, the person serving me was a little short and again a very curt reply when I asked about my coffee after my food arrived first. The other staff were equally not unfriendly but the staff didn't seem happy which added to a slightly less than warm atmosphere, which is a shame as the food and cafe itself is probably one of the nicer cafes I have been to in Christchurch.
H.Good atmosphere with well-presented food! The staff was friendly and served quickly. I ordered a cup of long black and it was done properly and amazingly. They offer options for personalizing your orders, so feel free to ask if you are vegan, vegetarian or alike. We enjoyed our conversation and food there. Will definitely be back again.

S.I had lunch there today and the food and drinks were great. I like how they have vegan food that I could have. The staff was friendly and kind. I would go back again.
S.Quite a show put the on this Sunday. A group of overly entitled elderly people swearing and using the foulest language to bully and abuse the staff. Must have been a day trip from a dementia ward because there was absolutely nothing wrong with the salmon - I had it and it was perfect. I suspect they are grifters. Should have been removed and banned from coming back
J.A friend and I decided to catch up with a coffee and a scone this morning.
I asked for an extra butter pat because we were sharing.
The scone arrived on a single plate with a single butter and a single knife and one serviette.
The very nice messenger had been told to tell me that if I wanted an extra butter I would have to pay another 14cents. She was able to bring us an extra plate for no charge.
The value of their butter pat is approximately 5 cents, to put things in perspective. An expensive advert for repeat business.
R.Had a nice time here on my break this morning. This place never disappoints warm peaceful nice scones and great coffee ,I broke my rules and had a second coffee!!!.
Nice slightly reserved girl served me ,great smile, not pushy ,and made me feel very welcome
V.Wow what an experience !!! The place is quite unique, you walk through the shop and there is it ..... the amazing cafe. I was there on a function and the food served was really really tasty , the ambience is really unique and the wall decorations are meaningful.
If you want to stop for a coffee or small treat, that’s the place.
Parking space available , the staff is really friendly and the service is very good
