I.Nice place, lots of extra touches: free cold water, little desert with drinks. Serve good coffee. Offer lunch specials; I had hot chocolate with cheese scone for five dollar. Friendly smiling staffs.
J.Great service all the time. My local cafe, I see the girls all the time and they do a great job :) yummy food and coffee. My favourite is a good cup of tea.
A.Very welcoming! The server puts in the extra effort to make sure you are happy and satisfied with everything, and always has a smile on her face!
When I went there last, we ordered and waited for our food. Once the food arrived, it was delicious! the attention to the little things really step it up a notch. And then to our surprise she gave us 4 complimentary slices to apologize for the wait! We were so surprised considering the wait wasn't really too long.
All in all, the regent really out done itself and will be the only cafe in dannevirke I'll return to in the future!!
M.What a real treat when the staff person makes you so welcomed and is a great host. Nice to find a GF muffin that is light and fluffy, the coffee 10 out of 10 with a treat of marshmallows on the side. The Theatre bathroom is available with purchase. Watch the step as you go out, nice that the staff member told you as you left.

Z.I enjoy the atmosphere, good coffee and food to go with. Sandwiches or the salads are go to or if I feel like a pie on the go there’s that too. I like to go there to play my online games, it’s a nice change from the library & other loud places. The cafe is very indie, very chic, it’s a cute spot for a first date or just read a book alone.

L.A perfect 10, lemme tell you why.. their staff, these business woman it’s one of the most, amazing things to see.. I don’t think that concept is appreciated enough.. there are not many business, least nowadays nor out there who can hold to that certain level of standard like The Regent Cafe does. Food, coffee is superb. Catering to my needs is even more of a extra I know I didn’t need, like needing something extra in my shake due to me being a personal Trainer, they can do that for you. The fact that it’s the Regent theatre, the place I went as a kid and can now eat in is truly a nostalgic memory. This place not only has been a eatery but also a space I can go shut off from things, do my art work or go over clients>workouts. The music caters to all ages, so you get a sense of growth, I took my grandmother here and she instantly knew most the songs playing which I thought was sweet. I’ve noticed these woman, they work well yet work hard, these the type of effort that shouldn’t go ignored and that’s why I’m writing today to say Regent Cafe. Do your thing, much love to the resilience, perseverance, and respect these people, establishment give. Cannot wait for another Hot Pink Smoothie with my lovely friend EGG. Haha cheers

I had a salmon eggs Benedict that was Devine, while my partner had a “kiwi az burger” it was ginormous for the amazing price we paid. My brother got just a steak pie but was presented beautifully with garnishes.
very unexpected for the meals to be at a “gourmet” standard for such a small town.
Highly recommend!
