Hotter inside than outside, they don't do their desert menu items nor iced mochas sadly either; I ended up getting the $5.50 twelve donuts with toppings, along with a $6.50 iced chocolate to help cool me down. Donuts were those small ones you usually find covered in raw sugar sold by those small booths at your local carnivals. The iced chocolate was delivered in a 500ml glass, with a plastic straw and metal teaspoon. In all fairness those straws are likely leftovers from the days they were still acceptable and are at least being used before being thrown away unlike the many tossed by cafe's seeking an eco friendly image. Taste: donuts weren't fantastic still tasty, the iced chocolate was definitely a treat tho, I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a quick chocolate fill. Photo was after I tried the food, the cream on top was a nice topping. All in all, I'd rate it 3/5, would be great for cold days but in hot summer January days, probably best to avoid if your clothing doesn't help you ventilate the humid touch.

By far one of the best cafes I have visited in NZ. Stayed here for some 2 hours but I would have stayed longer. Great food, very affordable prices and most importantly extremely friendly and helpful customer-service. If I visited Dunedin again I would definitely eat here.

Absolutely fantastic coffee, so far I would say the best coffee I have had in Dunedin. The owner is always smiling and friendly, highly recommend for anyone who lives in Dunedin or even traveling through to drop in and grab an amazing coffee as well as great chat. 😁👍

We had lunch here a few times while on the island visiting family and friends. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We sat on the front patio and enjoyed the view with our delicious coffee ☕️ and lunch 🥗 served with amazingly nice 👍 staff Must try!

Functional and fine without the fancy. The food was fine for the price, just reasonably basic. Handily located when you're in South Dunedin. Support a local businesses and give them a try.

We both had a big breakfast with lots of changes and it was no problem at all, food came quick and was just perfect. Owners were super friendly and still managed to go the extra mile even though it was really busy, will definitely be back!

Great food. Great staff. Value for your money. Especially their fish and chips meal or wrap meal.

Was a great stop to eat something, that has a good price and great taste. Staff was very friendly. Recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a typical fast food but good fresh food.

The staff are awesome. Very friendly, nothing is a problem. We had the BLT and chips. The best BLT was one of the most delicious ones I have had. Will return here with other friends.
