S.If you want to experience the best coffee and breakfast with a breath-taking view, please do not miss this place. This is my usual place for breakfast whenever I have time. Would be even better to have a swim before you treat yourself, then go for a walk at the secluded second beach behind the cafe. Very friendly staff, family atmosphere. Can be busy during peak hours and you might have to wait.
J.Best, closest and most beautiful outlook. The full scope of St Clair Beach is outside your window. The Cafe wall is lapped by the sea.
The food is fabulous. Great variety, yummy healthy options available, decadent sweets and great coffee.
Friendly, obliging staff who don't act as though anyone over 30 is too old to "see".
A.Limited menu for breakfast/lunch but the cabinet food looks great, cake was amazing , ginger kisses were really nice ! And the breakfast bun was also good. Great place to grab a coffee and treat to have along the waterfront on a nice day. Limited space and seating inside
c.It's cloudy, but it was still good enough to chill and relax. We want to see the long dog drawing, but we couldn't see one.

R.This cafe has a unique setting within the hot water pools and it's awesome to look out over the beach. It's awfully hot inside however as only a few windows can be opened. Also the counter area is a very congested area and it's impossible not to be standing in everyone's way! If you want to sit outside and drink you'll be given a well-used camping cup to drink out of (yuk) as they don't want broken glass around the pool area. Fair enough but surely you can find classier receptacles for customer's drinks!

C.I have just had the most delicious eggs Benny and crispy bacon, while sitting in the Dunedin spring sunshine, with the sea shushing along the sea wall. Cruisy people and chilled out dogs all around. Five stars plus!

D.Amazing for the views, very nice food, but when we went in there was no bottles to fill up with water like I've heard there usually is and while seated 3-4 times they came up to us with food/drink asking if its ours which it was not. They have table numbers upto something like 80 but i dont think they have 80 table numbers, only roughly 5 of them or they didnt have it on the tables for some peculiar reason. The service was with a smile and nice but they were a bit everywhere.
S.Food was basic and yummy. Coffee was good. Service was wonderful and fast. Was lovely to enjoy our breakfast and hear the crashing of the waves on the rocks. Would happily come back :))

K.A lovely little cafe where you can sit outside and watch the surfers. Good views over the beach & sea. Great selection of food, the salmon bagel was delicious! Really friendly staff & overall a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this place :-)
J.Fantastic views over the waves breaking at St Clair. Very enjoyable food. The only problem is that it needs to be bigger as it is very popular. It is fantastic to be able to have food and drinks delivered poolside at the salt water pool.

Very nice cabinet food (from sandwiches to pies). The breakfast/brunch menu is very limited to a choice of bagels. But I don't think you will miss anything. The bacon bagel is pretty much your Big breakfast except no sausage.
The coffee is super strong and nice. Love the views.
You might struggle to find a spot inside as it is tiny and popular (wow the views!)
But if you don't mind a bit windy, sitting outside is also absolutely stunning.
