R.Best cafe in Dunedin. Never had a bad meal here and it is our regular cafe to show off when we have people come and stay. Usually pretty busy but food is always served in a reasonable amount of time. Great friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere within the cafe. Eggs are always poached to perfection - using eggs Benedict for the litmus test of good cafes this place is flawless. Amazing coffee as well.
J.A great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, morning or afternoon tea, or even a small staff meeting. A great selection of foods to cater to all, and brilliant coffee.

A.Everything is always to a high standard. Friendly quick service. Menu caters for everyone even the kids. Lovely setting in the Nichols nursey / garden centre. Sit inside or out. Let the kids be entertained in the fenced playground.
D.Food was decent, but the service was a disaster. My kids pasta arrived 45 minutes before our food. On the top of that my wrap came without salad and when I asked for my cole slaw they simply added a green soggy salad :( not a pleasant experience...
D.Only had coffee here but it is nice enough. Comes out nice and hot which is good for me. Not entirely sure if it's any better than other similar cafes but it's in a nice setting
T.Nice gem hidden in Nichols Garden Centre. Great food and good coffee. Place is always busy, which is a good sign. We had the Avocado smash which tasted amazing.

M.This is a cafe in a gardening and pet retail store. You can take your dog here. Not into the actual cafe but the outside (but under cover from rain) seating is ideal for breakfast or lunch with your fur-baby in tow. Never had a problem with antisocial animals as it seems to atract mostly small dog owners with well socialised dogs. A nice place to bring a puppy to socialise while you have a coffee. Good place for children to grow accustomed to seeing dogs as friendly and part of their social circle.
Foods good. Not cheap but fairly priced given they are cooking on site full time to order: eggs benedict muffins etc

s.I was recommended this place by a car dealership that we just purchased a car from & we had flown into Dunedin I was ready lookin forward to having a nice breakfast I can 100% recommend this garden centre if you are looking for a nice something to eat with a well made coffee
