W.The best Cafe in Karamea accepts no excuses to not offer supurb quality of food, due to the lack of competition.
s.We arrived tired and worn out from driving. Ordered a pot of tea and a cheese & onion toasted sandwich. It was probably the best cuppa & TOASTIE I’ve had in a long time. I left so satisfied. Next day on the cave tour, lunch was provided, turns out Vinnies supplied it. Our sandwich and baked goods were so good we wanted more :-) so yeah, go here for ya lunch for sure!
D.Great spot - Sausage rolls are enormous for $5, and the Cheese onion toastie is a must. Will be back to try the amazing looking pies !!
S.Yum lunch, smoothies and ice chocolate and coffee were the best. Venison pie was yum. Toasties were loaded. Great place to eat before heading to Oparara and other walkways.
B.I've eaten a few pies in many places both here and abroad, but I can say with absolute conviction that vinnies cafe have the best pies in the world, bar none. like there's a joint called the burley bakery in marlborough that does a good pie but honestly what they've got going on at vinnies is next level. I mean it when I say that if you're in Westport, it's worth the drive to karamea just to get a pie from this joint.
E.Don't go past Vinnies Cafe in Karamea. West coast hospitality at its best! Cosy warm fire in a wet day, great coffee and whitebait sandwiches!
R.WOW!!! Vinnies Cafe is one of the best cafes I've ever been to.. this would have to be one of Karameas finest places. great food, great prices, fast service. ask for a toasted sandwich and you get 2.. delicious... they cater for us Gluten Free individuals too..

P.Awesome little cafe and bar on the main strip in Karamea. Love the natural wood, live edges and quirky setup. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. The coffee is excellent and the food very good. Best pie I've had in a long time. Really friendly staff and locals make it a great spot to stop in. We loved it so much we went back again after walking a few shirt tracks!

R.Had a coffee here yesterday. This is a real locals place (has the Karemea Radio studio in the cafe) but I really liked the vibe. The coffee was excellent (made by a French lady) which was a very pleasant surprise so far off the beaten track.

A.So so so good! Coffe mug = good sized coffee for a reasonable price. BEST carrot cake EVER! Generously filled hot pies and really friendly service. They closed but we where allowed to stay inside, while waiting for our friends to pick us up. Highly recommended! Tip them, they really deserve it.
S.Great coffee and food. Do stop in and enjoy what they have on offer. Ginger crunch is delicious as us the gluten free almond slice.

Four of us were traveling together and all of us were delighted with our lunch.
I had the best seafood chowder ever.

C.Really, really good coffee! We visited Vinnies twice and really liked it. Pies were great as was the toasted sandwich. Very tasty food and great value. We visited across two miserable days in June, but imagine it must be buzzing in the summer.
S.Vinnie's is the best. My hubby says he has the best pies & he eats alot of them on his travels.! All his food rocks & the staff are awesome. Nice areas to sit & eat & a good vibe. 😁

K.Great stop before hitting the Heaphy Track. Big delicious omletes and an amazing winter tonic with ginger lemon honey and turmeric. It was hard to resist the homemade pies as well, but I did. If open when I return I think one may be in future.
