Superb service, cool vibes, beautiful food! I had the steak sandwich and it was so juicy and flavourful! Best steak sandwich in town! My friends daughter had the berries and cream pancakes and the presentation was immaculate and flavour was spot on! Highly recommend! The cakes in the cabinet looked delicious so I'll be trying those next :)

Gather is hands-down my favourite cafe and lunch spot in Hamilton! The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel cared for. The food is AMAZING and the atmosphere is relaxing. I feel a part of the family every time I walk in and sit down for a meal. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone passing through the Hamilton area! Top tip for vegetarians: Order the "Full Veggie". My go-to meal and it never disappoints!

Enjoyed my fried eggs and mushrooms this morning, with friendly and helpful staff while waiting for my car to have new tyres. The menu is balanced just right, there are plenty of options but not so much its too hard to choose. The coffee was very good. I'm not in Hamilton often but would return to Gather FoodHouse again.

Full Monty breakfast a little underwhelming. Assume this is their version of a big breakfast. Only 1 egg 1 toast. Homemade baked beans not great. 2 eggs and toast & less of those small hash browns would have been better. Also suggest invest in pen & paper. Orders taken on tablet not working. Old tech still works. Apart from that a pleasant hour or so in good company. Oh! Get some cushions for those chairs😜

Loved the place. Menu is quite sufficient for all kinds of breakfast to brunch to lunch items, not limited to just 7 items per category, as the norm goes here for most cafes. Loved the presentation and staff friendliness. The seating could use a slight more lively environment, probably add some plants or more chic surroundings, but still cool. Not a budget cafe but not overpriced either. Somewhere in the middle. Hits the right spot, good bang for buck, definitely gonna recommend.

the guy at the counter is a real gem and greets everyone who walks in the door , the coffee is excellent , muffins are the way they should be ,a good size with plenty of berrys , and the salmon eggs benedict are generously sized and really one of the best in town

What a treasure to find for our breakfast place. FOOD was delicious and very generous servings. SERVICE was amazing - friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit too. Most popular dishes with our table of 12 was the Eggs bene (especially with the potato croquette} and the Full Monty breakfast. Thanks to all working today (Sat 18) and big props especially to the chef who trooped through all the orders on his own. Ka pai!

What a hidden gem! Our coffee was beautiful, and the food was perfect! The wait time wasn't too long - just long enough to soak up the gorgeous atmosphere and adorable decor. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we can't wait to come back!!

Great coffee. Our go to virtually every morning. Staff greet me with a big smile and the coffee is usually ready quick smart. Not too sure about the feijoa muffins, but the berry ones are delicious as are the savoury scones, toasted and not skimping on the butter. Recently I met a friend there, she enjoyed the ambience and has recommended it to some of her friends too.

As at May 2017, this is the best Cafe in Hamilton. The menu is short, and slightly more costly than other cafes, but the food is amazing. Every dish I've had here has been excellent. The staff are polite, prompt, and welcoming. What more could you ask for? Great coffee. The coffee here is top quality, and very consistent. I strongly recommend this cafe, it's one of Hamilton's best kept secrets at the moment! The only detraction is parking. There are only 2-3 parking spots outside, and street parking is (while free) in popular demand. You might have to park a little bit further away than you expect.

What an amazing little place! Absolutely delish food, friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful decor... The rocky road tart is just... Omg yum... Highly recommended.. Slightly noisy but it's part of the lively ambience. Only suggestion for improvement would be better ventilation in the dining area to lessen the cooking smell.

The food is a step above your normal cafe food. Restaurant quality, wonderful friendly staff and personal service. We would go there a lot more but have issues finding parking to do so. We go to this cafe about once a week. There is such a variety of great cafe's in Frankton, and I'm hesitant to write such a great review for this little hidden gem, just off the main streets. The coffee is great, and the food delicious. Brekky exceptional this morning, and the brand new barista fits in perfectly to the team. Don't tell everyone about this place those - Quiet and cosy!

One of the best cafes in Hamilton but it's only open on weekdays. This is one of the top 3 places for lunch in Hamilton, they have a very good cabinet selection and the 3 types of urban blends, matcha, beetroot, turmeric are all very well presented and taste good. The desserts are also a good finishing option and the rice roll is always a super healthy and delicious option.

Went here for the first time on Saturday (8th Feb) and it was well worth the wait! All the food is fresh and bursting with flavor, the coffee was amazing and all of this is matched with some of the best service i have ever had at a cafe. We will be back on a regular basis now you are open on Saturdays!

So much love for this place. Great consistent coffee quality. Amazing cabinet food, with a few key items and an ever changing range of salads and other goodies. Then there is the sweets cabinet. Oh. My.Goodness. From fudge and cookies to handmade dougnuts and cakes. Beautifully decorated and tastes amazing. The staf are super nice and make an effort to learn names of regular customers and will even hold your coffee card behind the counter so you are never caught without it. The only downside is the place is a bit small for for how popular it is. On weekdays the lunch rush packs the place out pretty quick so seating is in high demands. Not to worry though, you can reserve tables and they can make any of their food to takeaway.
