C.Very busy all day on weekends. Coffee is very good and strong. The meals have good selection of quality ingredients. Consistency is a bit of an issue here, causing quality issues. Do not recommend cabinet foods.

H.Friendly staff. LIKED the barrister, very good coffee. Had the Southern chicken burger, which was HUGE! and tasty. Service was good. Will go again. As are most eateries at the moment, vax card needed. Overall, tops.

S.Popped down for breakfast on Saturday. The food was delicious, the coffee was great and the service was exceptional. Staff are v friendly and all were masked and gloved and so really good safe practices in the current environment which was good to see. See you again soon!
R.Perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch with great coffee the option to order of the menu or cabinet menu at anytime of day. The food is fresh, tasty, nicely presented and reasonably priced with a wide range from scones to meals. With indoor and out door mixed seat from 2 to 8 people in a relaxed decor. (Bookings can be made as it is busy on the weekend). The staff are friendly and helpful. If you have a gold card you can get a 10% discount on Monday - Friday.
J.Good location, hidden away in a quiet suburban street. Corner store with ample parking at front, plant seats and good interior ambience. Good range of food selection. Our coffee to go took nearly 10 mins and it was around 930am on a weekday so not very busy. They had two staff on behind the counter doing coffee and what have you, but I think the near 10mins wait for a take away coffee is too long compare to other cafes nearby. No apologies and no thank you when she handed over our drink.

Inside outside dining, Jam on Queenwood is a great place to have a coffee (or stronger) in the fresh air.

Fully licensed in the heart of Queenwood Village.
Two designated "accessible" car parks right outside the door, with plenty of free parking make it a good choice to visit.
L.We visited Jam today we didn't think the place was very clean floors were dirty back of Cabinet needed to be wiped.We have been there before it was okay.

J.Everything is good, coffee is great...food a bit on the expensive side. Staff excellent. I gave it 4 stars as l find the place a bit noisey. Younger people may not notice
N.Pleasantly surprised to find this quality food establishment in such a built up residential area. It was bursting with regulars, zipping in and out for their coffee's. Prices match the food quality and the atmosphere was cheerful. I've knocked a star off as I've been back a couple of times and been disappointed with the deli selection (no cronuts :-( ). Ownership has now changed hands too.

P.A delightful suburban venue where you can choose to be inside or out, but when you stop for coffee and cake it would be nice to have just that.....coffee and cake within a reasonable time frame. Coffee came after a few minutes wait ( perfectly acceptable) but there was no sign of the cake! So what to do? Do you wait an extra 10 minutes for the cake and let the coffee go cold or do you drink the coffee at a good temperature and have nothing but water to have with the cake!
S.Dog friendly and we take our mate everywhere so he gets to meet other cool dogs. Food and coffee consistently good, staff friendly and welcoming.

D.Super good. Great cafe in a cluster of boutique shops. Keep coming back here. Yup, sure the home made gourmet pies are amazing but so too is lots of other yummy stuff in the cabinet and on the menu. Kids draw board and play area is awesome and self entertaining giving us some quality us time!
J.Dinner Sat night with friends, I had a lamb dish that was devine 10/10, the other mains we had also very good quality, beautifully plated and very well priced. We will be back for sure. Loads of parking, safe area and not overcrowded (I think the dinner thing is new for this cafe but man they did so well). Loved it.

A.We tried out Jam's meal takeout today, its first. What a fabulous treat! The two dinners, one beef and the other lamb plus side dishes were superb. They were top quality and I highly recommend them.

S.Gosh it's been forever since I've visited Jam and today was a great reminder that I should visit more often.
Enjoying the late afternoon sun outdoors, our waitress was busy with other tables yet was quick to acknowledge us.
I ordered the Duck Salad + a flat white whilst Mr whipped inside to check out the cabinet and was chuffed with his decision on a croque monsieur.
Our plates arrived quickly and were gorgeously presented and certainly impressed on the flavour.
My salad was well dressed (I had no need to use the side dish of dressing) and the duck perfectly rendered.
We'll certainly return and look forward to trying more of the menu.
Thanks to the staff for working hard in a covid environment. Apologies for no photos .... I'll sort that next time.

A.Lovely staff, delicious food
K.Its on a quiet corner with a beautiful big tree spreading out so that everyone sitting outside can see it. It's lovely to sit outside on a sunny day as today was. The staff are young, attractive and open...you can have a conversation with them and they're not afraid to smile and look as if they are enjoying their work. Coffee is good and they try to make it as you request it. Service was good today. I don't ever eat there but the food looks delicious.
S.Nice place (with a little kids' corner!) and really good coffee, but I'm not happy that they charge a dollar for non-dairy milk. I'm not sure about the food here either. I used to like it, but they have changed the menu and there seems to be no options for people with dietary requirements anymore. Also the cabinet food didn't look very attractive. Hope they will improve, cause it used to be one of my favourite cafes in Hamilton!
F.Lovely cafe in Queenwood, Hamilton. Plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors tables. Food is always excellent. Their Big Breakfast is a treat. They also have at least 3 or 4 gluten free choices for cakes and savouries. Happy, polite and friendly service.

L.Great coffee and good food. Downgrading my rating from 5 to 4 as they have now removed the dish pictured below, which was my absolute fave. (Creamy balsamic mushrooms)
J.Had brunch. The eggs bene stated “generously smothered with hollandaise sauce” but it was minimal. The toasted bread was soaked so wasn’t toasted anymore but completed soggy. I suspect it was an order that has been sitting for a little before it was delivered, as the food was extremely quick. Under 4 mins. So can’t complain about the speed but not if it was someone else’s order. Essentially just had bacon and eggs, which was tasty. Drinks turned up about 5 mins after the food, which is usually the other way round. Presentation was good. Unlikely to return.

I.Very nice food and drink and it came very quickly. The iced chocolate was amazing. The only downside was that the amount fries was disappointing for the price and there was a mixup over our table number. Overall a good experience and I would recommend for anyone who lives in the area and hasn't checked it out yet
E.Had to ask for any gf sweet cabinet food. Things weren't labelled very clearly, however this was a weekend and late afternoon visit and the signs may have been taken down for rewriting. Good gf hummingbird cake!

A.Never really impressed with Jam, I go there for convenience. Food is always boring and not good for allergies or vegetarians. Coffee is acceptable but average. Service is usually pretty good.

C.Jam is one of my favourite cafés in hamilton ! And I'm not even saying that because I used to work there :) they do some of the best coffee in hamilton and make a huge effort to train every single barista to their top-notch standard! They offer a bunch of vegan options on their menu and in the cabinet.
They also are one of the closest cafés to the biggest dog park in hamilton, and they give as much attention to canine customers as they do to the non furry human ones .
c.Tastes and services are great.
l.Can be a little dirty / noisy at times but very good food. I take my mother here a lot.
I strongly recommend the Hummingbird Cake. My God.
