We stopped here on the way from Queenstown to Invercargil. It was so good we had to stop on the way back too! The burgers are the best I've had and the waffles with chicken and bacon were AMAZING. The staff are amazing, attentive and happy to see you. It's a nice chill vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Made an unplanned stop here and did not regret! We all ordered 3 burgers and a wrap and the portion sizes were well above expectations. The beef burger was juicy with the burger sauce amazing. The Chicken burgers were also juicy and cooked to perfection, plus the gluten free bun tasted almost identical to the standard bun. Their hot drinks were also great. If we were to pass through Lumsden again, this would be a definite stop!!

Stopped over for a flat white. Pick up orders were down the walkway to the back. I rang the bell and a lady promptly arrived to take my order. The coffee arrived in a few minutes. Coffee was a nice smooth brew.

what a wee gem! funky, good food, friendly, all the best things about a country cafe. if you're going to Te Anau make this a coffee and cake stop. Lumsden might be tiny but it's set up as a good place to break your drive.

These burgers really are the best, and the kumara bolts are excellent. The desserts are generous serves and delicious. The cafe has a retro vibe, and it doubles as a post office!

Came in for lunch. Really happy with the cleanliness, the food was really tasty and cooked well. Hubby got the boss burger, fillet steak was med-rare. Seafood basket was generous, and daughter really enjoyed the wraps. Good milk alternatives if you're lactose intolerant. Coffee is a nice smooth blend. The service is friendly and no request seems to be an issue. Would recommend this place to anyone passing through Lumsden.

Called in here with my Grandson the other day and ordered two well done burgers.The burger was cooked to PERFECTION. The burger was 100% perfect. The meat patties had to have been some of the largest and tastiest patties that I have ever experience. The sauce, bacon, cheese etc were all top notch. I believe a lass called Marimba cooked the burgers for us. You absolutely nailed it. Will definitely be making this my regular stop on the way to Invercargill.
