This is the loveliest place I’ve stayed in New Zealand. The staff are absolutely amazing. Shavaun at reception is a great asset to Woodlands and the chef is also lovely. So kind and helpful.I am travelling on intercity buses which means I cannot choose my arrival and departure times and I was allowed an early checkin and late departure. The food is absolutely amazing.I had dinner and breakfast. There is a wonderful pool and spa which is great as Kerikeri has such great weather. My room is lovely with everything I need. Jon the cat is a bonus as I miss my cat! I love it here and would thoroughly recommend it.

Stayed here 3 night's. Good accommodation and wonderful Korean food on offer. Great setting amongst the trees and with the fantastic breakfast you won't need anything more till dinner 🤠

Worst thing was I payed them $8 to turn the washer machine on and they set it to like a 5 minute cycle and my clothes came out with dry pieced and detergent on them. I asked them to run it again and they did and it didn't fix it so I gave up. The electric heater was noisy, my room was behind the kitchen and the fridges were noisy waking me up at night. The hot tub had some particles(skin hopefully) when I turned it on so leave it on before getting in. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot water maker seemed really old and probably has bpa. The surroundings is nice though.

Good location. Room was very damp and had a strong smell. Carpet and bedding were damp to touch. A dehumidifier might help. Wi-Fi sucks. Okay for a budget one night stay but not any longer.

Great place to stay! Rooms are warm and clean and the facilities are pretty good. Staff are friendly.

All I have to say awesome place staff the best our group has ever come across and there is 22 in our group and plus a lot of people like how flash everything has to be so if into flash then this is not the place for you but if your into cozy then this is for you again I'll be back here for sure loved it

This place is so beautiful and tranquil. Pool, spa and bbq area. Clean and tidy. Everything in its place. Well worth stopping here

This is the best place to stay up north in Kerikeri. I have stayed here for work over the past year, awesome place, amazing people and wonderful food. The Atmosphere the owners have created here is just wonderful when you are on your own away from home. Wendi is a great cook so the food served is excellent. Tony is a great host and bar man both full of life and laughter. The accommodation is very comfortable and quiet. Thanks for creating such a wonderful space.

Great location handy to town but starting to look a bit old and dated now and could benfit from a freshen up. That said it provides a clean and hassle free stay while working away.

Nice place quite outdated though. Room had quite a musty smell when you walked in but it was cheap so I can't really complain.

They need smoke free areas. Nothing worse than sitting outside on a beautiful summer night, and the nieghbour comes out and starts smoking 3 metres away. Back inside and shut all windows and doors.

wow ,talk about clean, and comfortable, we couldn't find more helpful obliging people . and this motel has the most majestic spot in Kerikeri . nice big conference room surrounded by redwood trees and native trees full of tuis

My stay there was 5 nights arriving 9.30pm got a call to say where key n no of room staff were helpful when I needed it

Very good price and nice staff. As good as a hotel for the price of a motel. You get free tea, soap, shampoo and the pool and spa are very good. Would visit again and recommend to all my friends.

Agreed re peacefulness but bedside lamps wonky and hard to operate. Tv remote very hard to turn on and cld not make volume work. Reception said this was as usual!! Woke up too with very sore back so ...not sure why! (no back issues yesterday or usually).

The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is old and in need of renovation.

I have stayed here more times than I can remember even stayed here over my wedding weekend , favourite place to stay it's beautiful and staff are always super welcoming and pleasant .

We stayed in one of the Tourist apartments, which is a double room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Really nice for the price, and the grounds and facilities are great! I would stay here again.

Very nice atmosphere with the forest in the background and all the pleasant sounds of the birds, crickets and many other forest dwellers. The pool and dining options at this motel are also positive. We were there in the spring of 2015 and until today, I'm longing to visit Woodlands Motel again. From here you can explore the entire Northland. After a very short walk you are in the center of Kerikeri or at the Stonehouse or at this fantastic waterfall. We are looking forward to the next visit to this great motel (Original) Tolle saubere Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, Küche und Sanitäreinrichtungen waren immer gepflegt und sauber. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre mit dem Wald im Hintergrund und all den angenehmen Geräuschen von den Vögeln, Grillen und vielen anderen Waldbewohnern. Der Pool und das gastronomische Angebot in diesem Motel sind auch noch positiv zu erwähnen. Wir waren im Frühjahr 2015 dort und bis heute sehne ich mich danach wieder das Woodlands Motel zu besuchen. Von hier aus kann man das gesamte Northland erkunden. Nach einem sehr kurzen Spaziergang befindet man sich mitten im Ortskern von Kerikeri oder am Stonehouse oder an diesem fantastischen Wasserfall. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf den nächsten Besuch in diesem tollen Motel

(Translated) Although close to the city center you live here almost in the middle of the forest. It is pleasantly quiet and the rooms are clean. For the backpacker rooms there is a shared bathroom and there is a large kitchen available for all. Shaded seating is available in the heart of the motel alongside the swimming pool and hot tub. You can also wash and dry, but it is quite expensive ($ 12). The walls are a bit thin, but had no volume problem. Would book again anytime. (Original) Obwohl nahe des Stadtzentrums wohnt man hier quasi mitten im Wald. Es ist angenehm ruhig und die Zimmer sind sauber. Für die Backpackerzimmer gibt es ein Gemeinschaftsbad und für alle steht eine große Küche zur Verfügung. Im Herzen des Motels gibt es neben dem Swimmingpool und einem Whirlpool auch schattige Sitzplätze. Waschen und trocknen kann man auch, ist aber ziemlich teuer (12 Dollar). Die Wände sind etwas dünn, hatte aber kein Lautstärkeproblem. Würde jederzeit wieder hier buchen.
