Had such a fantastic meal at Salt and Pepper Cafe. They were super accommodating to dietary requirements and the food tasted incredible!
The views were beautiful, and they had a big area for kids to play (including a trampoline).
Our waiter was Charlie who was honestly the best FOH I have had for a while, I myself am in hospitality and have quite high expectations of other FOH workers and he hit the mark brilliantly! Deserves a pay rise!!

B.We were recommended to the Salt and Pepper Cafe to have a nice lunch. We ordered our meal and waited patiently for it to arrive. One hour later still no food came our way. Disappointed at this point, we politely ask one of the staff where our food might be. It didn't take long to find out that order had been lost. All staff members were very apologetic and could not have been more helpful. Our lunch arrived within 10 minutes, and the food was just perfect. The meal was on the house, we also got free coffee and desert which we didn't want to take but they insisted. I can only highly recommend this cafe. We will be back for sure next time we are in the area.

First time a friend introduced me to this place they said they have the best wagu burgers weren't wrong bloody nice.
Second time took a friend she had potato stack me wagu burger again with ice coffee omg it was so nice.
We didn't realise we could bring our dogs.
Third time me & my daughter we tried the chicken burger! This time brought my dog!
Staff are funny as! Atmosphere blimmn great.

Situated in the Garden Depot we went for a 'big' breakfast and for what you get it was overpriced compared to others around Levin.
Eggs were supposed to be scrambled not poached thanks. Might be due to the waitress not writing anything down??
Coffee was average as well.
Apart from that the service was actually ok unfortunately we won't be going back.

m.Went to Salt n Pepper for the first time today with a good friend of mine. I had the Thai Beef Salad. It was absolutely yummy!! 👌 We sat outside and it was lovely 👍great lunch! Nice staff! Awesome atmosphere! Its an A+++++ from us 😁😁✌

Avoid the boomer hoards and you will thoroughly enjoy this stop on your trip northward.

We will definitely book a table again, as its very popular and I don't want to miss out, loved the dining experience today at Midday.

E.Big portion of dishes, tastes nice. It was a bit of a mission to find the entrance but wasn't too bad. One down side was that they were serving you at the table but there was no noticeable sign that says don't get the drinks out ourselves and the staff was talking as if we are doing something wrong.
Maybe something that can be improved with a big sign.
r.I stopped in here after a busy day to take a small well earned break. I was greeted by the staff who were just lovely even when it was near their closing time. Great service, great coffee and range of yummy treats to eat.

S.This is a great place to eat. Great vegetarian meals. Loved the cheese cake and portions are enough to feed two. Staff friendly and helpful. Then the garden centre next door is a bonus.

Plant prices are average but good quality. In six years only had to return one plant and it was replaced with no issues.
Great range of fertilisers and mineral supplements. Also pots trellis and ornamentals plus answers to most irrigation questions.
C.A bit of a hidden gem to be honest. Was a bit confused when walking in as the cafe is down the back of the building but is rather nice once you get in. They have a nice looking menu and while I only had cabinet food that was great anyway. Friendly staff and nice environment. Stop in on your way through you wont regret it.

T.Really enjoyed being on the verandah, menu and service great. Staff were patient when a carload of our guests was running late, and staff didn't make us feel pressured.
Menu was interesting with photos and every one, including 2children immensely enjoyed their meals.
Only 2 problems was the toilet facility and parking. I have a mobility issue and use a walking frame. Concrete path down to the area, then had to traverse over a large patch of gravel, and up a ramp that was steeper than recommended for disability access. The room itself was spacious, well set up and clean.
The parking area was gravel so once again not friendly for using a walking frame, and the 'verandah' style access past the shop to the restaurant was a little narrow, especially where objects were displayed.
Apart from the mobility issues I would definitely consider going again.
T.Wonderful Cafe to go to for lunch. Covid does make things a little awkward for actually getting into the right place, but is definitely worth it.

S.Busy lunch time on a Friday, there with wife and my parents. Quite a lot of choices but limited coeliec choice so mother could only have a chocolate brownie. Ordered hot food and coffees and cake came out before rest of food so mother had to wait.
Needed to follow up on ordered English tea as well.
The team were very friendly and didn't charge for tea. The waitress was a lovely girl who did get best to assist with choices for my mum.
Had the all day breakfast which was delicious and wife had pasta of the day which was great.
Opportunity with some service and choices but overall a nice lunch and nic location.

E.Popular cafe on the outskirts of Levin within a garden Centre. The staff are friendly and the food is good, there is a large outdoor area for kids to run around in. Only criticism is that there is only one unisex toilet within the building for the cafe so there is often a queue to use it.
