A.Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. The latte art on the flat white was amazing. The two guys at the counter were very nice and chatty. The atmosphere was also incredible. Definitely recommend and will for sure be back 😊

Menu didn't have a lot of options however what was on thier was tasty and beautiful. Ordered a blueberry muffin and was freshly cooked and absolutely beautiful muffin, others ordered avocado bagels and they were also beautiful and fresh tasting, with many elements tasting fresh..
Decor is nice and cozy, especially at the back of the shop
The coffee is also very nice, absolutely beautiful!
Overall a very clear 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and would definitely come here again and recommend this eatery to anyone !!

My body quivers as I pen this review.
Firstly, the team were most gracious in their hospitatility, true proffesionals in the art of customer service. Swift, expeditious seating with a wonderful contagious smile.
My friend Mullet and I ordered coffees.
I got a long black, he ordered a low fat, organic, locally sourced single origin latte with a shot of cinnamon.
Have you ever tasted love? I have. Enough said
V.Taper is amazing! Best eatery in NZ imo. The iced coffee here is the best i have ever had! Food is delicious. The service is so fast and polite. You are greeted with a smile every visit. The vibes and decor are exactly what Levin needs. Thanks Isaac!
s.What a spot. I was blown away by the incredible service and knowledge of the menu. Issac and his team took such good care of us. We were extremely impressed by the food, coffee and the atmosphere. Highly highly recommend and can’t wait to go back. Gluten and dairy free options no problem.
J.I don't rate places 5/5 often but this is a great cafe. The vibe, food, coffee, craft beer selection and staff make it the go to place in Levin. Its food is so good popular dishes can sell out so get it quick
M.Levin has needed Taper for years. Hands down the best place in town for food, coffee, beer and a laugh when you're ordering. Now I'm just waiting for them to open as a bar for the evenings!
F.Wonderful friendly service and great food. So popular they couldn't seat us immediately, so we had a wonder in the shop next door and they came and fetched us when a table came free.
S.Best coffee in town with a selection of espresso bean in your flat white or long black. Great range of supreme beans with espresso and filter roast options and they sell everything you'd need for your home brewing kits too. Levin really needed a specialty coffee shop and Taper fills that void 🙌
J.Incredibly hip and fashionable, Taper wouldn't be out of place in the Wellington cafè scene.
The menu was fairly broad, and featured trendy interpretations of popular dishes.
I had Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh fruit, yoghurt mascarpone, maple syrup, and a berry coulis. The portion was quite small for the price, but it was enough food. I also had a Latte which was really well made, and not at all bitter.
Probably the best café experience I've had in Levin - although I was surprised by the price point which is a little more on the expensive side - particularly for the Horowhenua market.
K.Wow! This was a surprisingly amazing visit. Popped in for a coffee and breakfast while staying with whānau from Foxton Beach.
Their coffee brew was delicious, the best quad shot long black I've had in a long time. The beans were high quality and brewed perfectly.
Their breakfast hit all the right points.
They welcomed my whānau by asking if they'll have their regular (Half strength naked Coconut Cuppachino with a takeaway triple shot flat white).
If you're looking for a relaxing spot with great kai and a welcoming smile, pop into Taper.
D.Mean. Think Wellington's Matterhorn and Krazy Lounge for the feel and vibe of the place. Nice lounge house jazz tunes to enjoy your ice coffee and savoury pie. A must if your ever in Levin Livida Loca.

A.I’ve been here quite a few times now for both take out and dine in, and I’ve never been unhappy! I like the ever changing menu so I can try new things all the time. Their selection of beer and wines is the best I’ve seen in Manawatu.
The service is always friendly and top notch. I will continue going back here regularly! A much needed addition to Levin.

I tried a few places and was disappointed, thinking I would have to wait until I returned to the Gold Coast to get one. But no....Taper was recommended and did not disappoint. Even took coffees to a family catch up and I got asked...’oh yum, where did you get this coffee?’ The staff are super friendly from the minute you walk in the door, and the coffee is THE BEST IN LEVIN!
