I believe I visited 2 days after they opened. Very surprised with the quality. It's pretty good. The latte was great, one is the best I've had in NZ. Lots of seating, friendly staff, and decent choices. Fancy latte art as well. Beautiful place to enjoy a drink at. Also from what I remember, there wasn't actually any music playing there which I actually like. (Edit: there is music, just really quiet). I prefer a quiet place to reflect on thoughts whereas music tends to flood the mind. But that's me, I'll enjoy a 6 hour car ride in silence. I'm crazy. The cons. Staff still seemed new, asking us several times if we were getting things when it was the table behind us, but no big deal. I'd rather be asked than given the wrong order. And gluten free options seem limited, which is always a big deal for my wife. Prices are also just a little higher than other local cafes. It's brand new, so I can see a 5 star review in their future, it's just shy of it right now however. I'd recommend visiting of you're in the area. Update: They're superb. 5 stars now. Everyone is really friendly.

Not the best coffee I've had, very strong. Also they need to replace their knives and forks , they are very hard to use as they twist when trying to cut the food. The food was good, but will go to RH in Rolleston next time

This place is a must try for awesome coffee and food. Owners and Staff are friendly and welcoming. I love how you can score yourself double stamps each time you bring your own keep cup. It is a great way too reduce waste and protect our planet and sea critters 🐢 🐬 🐠 🌍

We have enjoyed it a lot several time. Staff have been very helpful and patient when we have come with friends in wheelchair and the like 👍 always great service and big smiles, even now when they have to be behind masks. They even remember our names 😁👍

My wife and I visited here on ANZAC Day. I had a hot chocolate which was served to perfection, not too sweet but tasty and well presented. I also had a chocolate brownie cake and was delighted with the taste. Again not too sweet like at some other cafes. The service was excellent and the cafe big, bright and sunny. The place was full of people so obviously a popular place to come. My wife had a flat white and was also impressed. We will return!

The coffee and food is always very good as are the staff. But one thing that makes the customer feel rather uncomfortable is that the staff keep an eye on customers and, as was the case for me today, as soon as I took my last mouthful of coffee, the staff member was there to take my cup away. She had already taken my friend's dishes when she finished before me. I have felt pushed to leave as soon as I finished my purchases before. Thanks

Excellent service, lovely staff and good coffee. Unfortunately the food is a bit average and our breakfasts with bread and egg were dry and boiled to an inch of their life. Food took over 25 mins to arrive and wasn’t super busy.

Always tasty. Bit disappointed with the beef burger though. Although it was good the beef patty was a bit on the small side for the price paid. And when in a bun twice the size it does make you look at having it again.

The RHC franchise delivers a good coffee and decent food. Some of the franchises are better than other's - my favourite being the one based in rolleston. However, I recommend a visit here.

Great coffee nice to go to a place that serves Hot coffee amazing choice of food I had the mushroom & bacon strudel with a little salad real nice but agree with another review as soon as you are finished the staff come over getting your plates etc so even though I am quick at eating and drinking which doesn't always fit well with my partner I did feel a tad pushed out but thats been picky great to see that they allow dogs at the outside tabels
