R.What a brilliant cafe. In the week that I have been coming here, I cannot fault the staff on service, friendliness. The food is good but best of all the coffee is fantastic
L.This cafe has inside and outside seating. The decor is fun with bright paintings on the wall giving a nice atmosphere.
Coffee was great, but the muffin I had was very doughy and not nice and the cake was very dry.
Service was good and staff friendly.

What I REALLY loved about this place was the way the ladies greeted their customers ❤
It was so evident that the ladies behind the counter viewed their patrons as more than just faceless punters paying for a hot drink.
How they spoke to their customers and how their customers spoke to the ladies showed a level of trust and obvious care that I've not seen in such a long time and have rarely seen displayed outside of NZ.
They way everyone interacted with each other was uplifting and made me so pleased I stopped in and got to briefly glimps their very special world 😊
The coffee was good too 😁 Just maybe a tad cooler but once it had cooled down it was a very good flat white.
I would so love to visit again in the future when I'm back in NZ.
T.I know I'm boring, but always having Eggs benedict allows me to compare venues easily. For instance these guys served the best bacon I have tasted in years everything was great but the bacon was amazing. I loved the little outdoors area with the birds chirping and the sun beating down. A better than average coffee helped give me a brunch to remember. The deli counter selection looked yummy too. I'll be back again soon.

V.One of the best breakfasts we’ve had, the menu is quite comprehensive and caters to all diets. Staff are very friendly and the chefs do not leave any leaf unturned. We’ll be back again.

N.Possibly the best big breakfast I've ever had. Everything was perfect. Hash browns weren't your standard hashies you get everywhere else, eggs were cooked to perfection and had a rich yoke It would seem they were defently free range. Great bacon and beautiful creamy mushrooms on outstanding toast. Unbelievable a big breakfast could be done without being able to fault anything actually. My first ever 10/10 breakfast.

So here it is:
2cups self raising flour ,one cup tasty cheese, one cup of water a pinch cayenne pepper
Mix dry ingredients add water stir. Shape into oblong fan bake at 190beg for 20 mins ...
P.Its not often I go out to a cafe and write a review - I travel extensively and I cant rave higher about the quality of a simple coffee and poached eggs on toast - these guys know how to cook and barista and it is reflected in their food - well done amazing - also congratulations on a nice atmosphere early in the morning - I felt like a local!!!! Keep it up I will be back!
F.Love this coffee shop in Petone. They make Great coffee, Bristers are nice lovely people. Beautiful art work on the wall outside and there are pot plants that even have their names not plant names they are named after people. Cpofe is a good price 6.00 dollars for a medium or large coffee. The have a loytall card you buy 10 coffees get the tenth one free which is a good Deal.

K.Great serving sizes and awesome atmosphere. Super bubbly staff too which is always amazing. The vegetarian nachos are have a nice breakfast-ish taste. Excellent hot chocolate too. They also have a really good range of meals for every dietary requirement 😊

K.I've come here several times over the years and generally it's OK. But had to wait over an hour for our food today and watch people who came it well after us get served meals and then eat and leave... Before our food was even served. Had to ask staff twice about where our meal was. Clearly they just forgot about our meal.... Until we asked about it... No apology or anything when the food was finally served.

M.I had the big beanie vegetarian breakfast and it was good. The foil was hot and cooked well. The front of house staff were welcoming and service was good. Not the most exciting menu but done well.

J.Love this cafe. Food is always delicious and they are happy to make it dairy free, or help with any food allergy. Staff is friendly, coffee is spot on and atmosphere is causal and welcoming.

P.Managed to feed two teenage sons 2 excellent large breakfasts. My eggs Florentine had a super portion of softened, not dissolved, spinach. Thick creamy aioli a little thicker than other venues but good eating. Coffee pretty darn perfect. Than you.

Bev and Annie have created a fantastic atmosphere, their staff give excellent service. Josh is a master barista, his coffee is perfect, and consistent every time.
I drive further, past several other good cafes to get to Beannie, to get there. If you're looking for somewhere for a great coffee, a beautiful generous breakfast, or a well priced quality lunch with friends, you would enjoy Beannie Cafe.

V.Beannie's Cafe is a tragedy, because it is in Wellington and I am in Auckland! Loved this place, best French Toast I have had in a while and great Havana coffee. This is Jackson Street and you shouldn't expect a perfect McArchitect creation, it's an eclectic place full of character

Typically bustling, the staff manage the crowd with confidence and deliver before your stomach cries out for service. Petone's cool young things have made this their local and with good reason.

C.Always love coming here, Nestled in a row of charming heritage buildings this cafe has a busy vibe.There is street art spray painted on the walls similar to Banksie.The outdoor seating has blankets for those chilly days.They offer cabinet food along with meals and a specialty being custard pillows which is a delicious wicked treat.Can be crowded at times ,do come early.

M.A great range of cabinet food is the highlight here. I was feeling carnivorous so I went for the Mince It with poached eggs and a cappuccino. If you like your mince meaty you won’t be disappointed but I think it was a bit much for me. Definitely needed some liberal salt and pepper and t-sauce to balance it out. Coffee was good, but I should have ordered a juice or other drink to freshen up my brunch
