M.Such nice food and coffee. We all enjoyed the food and didn't have to pay the earth. Coffee was at table in a flash and all staff so welcoming. Cheers team. Today was just as good thanks, Fried chicken burger is the bees knees and the maple syrup on the pancakes the best ever 👍

M.Really good coffee stop. Me and my hoard of goblins needed a meal before we raided the dwarves mines. The staff of this establishment were kind and fed my troops with delicious coffee and croissants. The moral boost was excellent and surely contributed to our victory. Will come back.

A.Great stop off in Matamata for a coffee and quick snack. This is possibly one of the best cafes in the town centre that opens late. We were originally wanting to go to the Kaimai cheese factory but that was closed, and the painted lady cafe across the road had stopped serving coffee. It was after 3pm and most of he other cafes in the town centre were already closed. This cafe was definitely a find. Delicious slices, brioches and good coffee with options such as almond milk as well.
J.Loved the lemon curd doughnuts! Best cinnamon rolls we have tried in New Zealand. Try the filling 64 Breakfast! Yum!

A.There is a good selection of cabinet food that caters for all dietary needs. The staff are personable and professional. If I get take away food or coffee. It is prepared with care and in a good timeframe.
H.A sign of a good cafe is that the first thing you get is a problem - you can’t choose what to eat because everything looks so good. This place has an awesome display of cabinet food, kind of a sweet tooth heaven. The coffee is good, there’s plenty of room, and the location is away from the state highway but good for people watching. Our new go to when we’re passing through Matamata.

D.Discovered this great place today!. Food was delicious and there was a good selection in cabinet (plus menu service). There was non-dairy and apple juice options for the smoothies. The coffee was good, double shot option and the cupsize was generous. Food was brought out in a timely manner .The customer service was friendly and professional.
The place was clean, tidy even at peak time.
We were all impressed.
Will be back and will recommend to friends and family.

R.Their spiced chai latte was flavorful, but didn't have enough froth on top and the banana, carrot muffin was dry. I would give this cafe 3 stars because after we ordered (and we ordered takeaway, so I'd expect it to be quick) it took another 20-30 minutes for our food and drinks to come.

M.What a find! Passing through Matamata on the way to Morrinsville we couldn’t believe our luck when we stumbled across 64 Coffee and Kitchen. So much delicious looking food we didn’t know what to choose so we had a ‘selection’. It didn’t disappoint! Beautiful pie and sausage roll; ridiculously delicious fresh doughnuts and good coffee. Looking forward to our next trip through Matamata! 😉
