Beef sliders were good and tasty, and Chip was crispy ( how chips should be). Ice latte, coffee is strong enough to cover the sweetest of ice cream. Newly added : Dory meal, the fish was fresh, not cardboard thin and dry. Salad was good , with the chef mixed dressing.

A great little coffee Cafe here at Matamata.Good food selection great coffee excellent service combine for a very pleasant 'time out' Have returned a number of occasions to find it to be of a very consistent standard .Seems popular with the locals which is always a good sign .

Just had a lovely Mothers Day brunch for 8. Food was excellent as was the coffee. Staff were so obliging and friendly. Very impressed.

Stopped off here on the way to Rotorua for lunch and it exceeded our expectations! The food was so delicious - the soup was so good I almost asked for the recipe.

Stopped in at Rich Coffee Cafe today in Matamata for a quick vanilla latte, the coffee was wonderful as I sipped away sitting on the boardwalk outside but I must confess to not buying any food due to it not being priced in the cabinet. The food looked great I just hate taking something up to the cashier and only then finding out the my ten dollars won't cover it, awkward!!! Anyway well worth stopping in for a lively clean cafe with good coffee and a smile

We often travel south and stop at Matamata for refreshments. Our previous place moved to commercially produced food so we decided to try somewhere else. We have been impressed with the food - homemade sandwiches, cakes etc and a very tasty breakfasts (the yolks of the eggs were very yellow). I highly recommend this place. Nothing plastic about the food here.
