Reviews of The Wave Cafe
M.I love this food truck cafe!, they have my most favorite toasted sandwich cheese, caramelized onions and tomato and it has the most delicious chutney sauce in it, crunchy toasted and so so delicious melt in your mouth. They staff there are great always so friendly and accomadating like last time I was there I got a ice-cream and a toasted sandwich and they were on to it when they asked me do you want your ice-cream first or after which I might of, but said I will have toasted sandwich first. They also can get quite busy they try to get through the line and getting your food/coffees made. I love too that they are right near the beach so also as well there are bench seats if you need to wait and they call out your name when it's ready. And they usually have some big 2 cushion seats to sit on. I also love their cruzy chilled music playing in the background. They have a very wide range of different sandwiches ice-creams and smoothies. Great display of the menu on the surfboards. So yes definitely grab a bite or something to drink from there, just be prepared to wait a little longer in line when it's especially Summer as will be very busy but you won't be disappointed!
A.What a great food truck, the first day we had Poppet and Thruster toasties and M&M Sundaes, absolutely yummy! The day we left we came back for some more M&M Sundaes and had some Triple Chocolate Brownies, so, so good. Value for money too 👍😁
E.Awesome little place. Had a fresh beetroot, carrot, ginger and apple juice plus a ferroro rocher raw ball. Yum! Nice chap served us too 👍🏻
C.They went out of their way to get their dairy free ice cream set up for us and perfectly estimated how long the ice cream would take despite huge crowds. Delicious dairy free real fruit ice cream, according to my girlfriend who ate it all
B.On a busy day you will wait in a long queue, usually in the hot sun, but its worth it! All the food is fresh and high quality and the service is great. Seems as if its a great place to work too, so you may need to refrain from handing in your CV.
D.The Wave Cafe has the best location in the area. Who doesn’t want to view across the ocean and relax with a coffee, smoothly or food. They really make a day out with the family easy. No need to pack snacks and drinks to bring to the beach because they have it all and at great prices. The staff and owners are all so warm and accommodating. You feel like you’ve made new friends there even after the first visit. I love the aesthetic of The Wave and how they are so creative with their displays it makes getting a drink turn into an experience that you will want to continue to take. Thanks so much Wave Cafe for always being such a great addition to my day at the beach or a day out shopping.
