Good food and great service. Interior is very nice but i decided to sit outside on a sunny day sipping cappuccino which by the way is also quite aromatic as usual. Ordered sort of a big breakfast set with reasonable pricing and good presentation.

One of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve had. Super flavour, nicely balanced meal just perfect for lunch. Had the scrambled tofu which was a delight to the taste buds. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Great customer service,good menu,clean little cafe,my daughter and I enjoyed our breakfast, the sourdough bread was a little hard,toasted too long,my only issue.

Cafe was super packed while visited on Saturday but quality of food maintained. Served by friendly cashier at the counter and service was quick despite the crowd. Plenty of choices on both menu and cabinet food. My CLT came with large portion and tasted great!

One of best Napier cafes! Nice interior with really really friendly Staffs I bet you will be surprised. As you can see, No wonder how amazing dishes we were served. Very tasty, Nice decorations and Nice pics.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at the Ajuna Eatery and was delighted to find a menu that is unique and does not disappoint. Great meal options that show a lot of thought and offering something a little different. Services is out standing, decor is original and attractive and very centrally located. You will not be disappointed, a must when you visit Napier.

I found the staff are friendly and well trained the service is quick and efficient. I enjoy the food it is fresh and well prepared a good variety and not expensive with adequate portions. Coffee is excellent and water and glasses abundant. The exterior tables facing North which soak up the morning sun in winter are always clean and ready to be used.

Funky place with personality-plus staff. Counter service, tap water freely available. Portions are generous - a child's size scrambled eggs and bacon was more than sufficient for my partner and I couldn't finish my smashed avocado on toast with scrambled eggs. Superb quality too.

Great atmosphere! Nice food. A place you can enjoy the Art Deco town in a nice ray of sunshine, just like what we did. Very keen hospitality. The dude behind the till was very cool with his Rick Owens boots.

This was the best meal I have eaten in my entire life. Absolutely the best thing I have ever eaten and I miss it daily. Everything about this CLT write down to the garnish on the bun to the juiciness of the chicken and lettuce. I am over the moon that I had the opportunity to eat this delicious meal. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone that asks (apart from vegans). To this day I am so blessed and grateful that I was able to eat this CLT and I would 10/10 go back and try it once again :)

PREMIUM QUALITY BREAKFAST Atmosphere: this eatery is in the heart of Napier CBD and surrounded by the Art Deco buildings. The eatery itself has a lovely, unique style/decor with teal walls and some stained glass. Food: I had an avo smash and it was the best one I’ve had to date. Generous avo, delicately poached egg, healthy tomato pieces and a smear of lemon infused sauce laced across the front of the plate. I also enjoyed the fancy hash brown. Sublime. Service: it felt like it took about 30 seconds for my coffee and 3 minutes for my avo smash. Excellent. I have found coffee in New Zealand generally okay, but this coffee was particularly good. It had a bit of an exotic flavour. Other: chairs and tables are nice, round tables are maybe a bit small for four people. I came early in the morning on a weekday in summer and really enjoyed the lighting the sun providing. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Lovely brownie (i got the GF one simply because it looked nicer) and the coffee was nice. Although, the coffee was RIGHT on the verge of bur ing my tongue, but it hadnt quite biiled. Probably just because a lot of kiwis want "hot" coffee. So. If you want your milk based coffee spot on, maybe just mention the temp when ordering. Otherwise, lovely spot! Will be back!!

Lovely place to have brunch in Napier. Staff were super friendly without being over the top. Had a table outside on the foot path with lovely Smoked Salmon Benedict, Pancakes with Bacon and 2 great large cups of delicious Coffee which made for a great way to watch the world go by. Were able to plan what we were going to do for the day in a very relaxing manner. Will definitely be back when we are back in Napier

We had to go to Napier so decided to have brunch there. This is a good place for it. The streaky bacon was very evenly cooked, the eggs were scrambled with a good mix of moist and set, the wholemeal toast very tasty. Bit noisy when there are a few folk in.

I was late at 1430 and the kitchen had closed so only could get salads. Had a mix salad (lentils, peas, kumara, carrots, possibly pumpkin and 2 pieces of feta cheese.) for 8.9$. Quantity was medium. Enough to just get the feeling of being full. Taste was ok. Also had a small coffee for 4.50$. There r better places for coffee in napier

Was a pleasant surprise to find this delightful cafe for breakfast on a miserable Napier morning. Bubbly enthusiastic staff and great food.

I can't say enough good things about Ajuna. I've had brunch and lunch there on a number of occasions and it's always been fantastic. The meals are lush, abundant, fresh, delicious and all-round yum. There are interesting dishes such as the smoked fish, and the caesar salad was amazing. Everything is very fresh. Easy for gluten-free/celiac too.

Had the French Toast and Sausage Rolls, were absolutely delicious, was very impressed with the size abd portion of the French toast, was very flurry with a very nice egg texture with bacon n bananas, also the sausage roll and sauce is great

Wonderful place to have breakfast or just a cup of coffee in the middle of Art Deco architecture. The cakes and especially the croissant was excellent...wonderful raspberry jam.

Superb little place, great coffee and food - breakfast and lunch. Excellent with kids - chef made plain cheese sandwich to keep our little one happy (and eating). Service very good.

Amazing place for brunch . The best creamy mushrooms I have had in NZ. All of our table (6 adults) were absolutely stoked with their food - both the quality and the quantity on all the dishes was epic. To top it off the coffee was also top notch.

Unlike Mt Maunganui Napier treats your pooch with table service. This is a Great little cafe, friendly service, clean, nice location and yummy food.

Had the eggs Benedict + spinach. It came with 2 generous slices of pre buttered ciabatta. Bacon was both soft and crispy (should please everyone) and good flavour. Just like the coffee it was exactly what you’d expect without any gourmet twists. Prices are a bit higher than average but you’ll be confident in getting quality food. Nice fresh modern interior too.

Wonderful classy cafe in the heart of Napier. Food that caters to meat eaters and vegans and all in a nicely laid out setting. If you're in the mood for a coffee with a little bit of flair definitely check these guys out. Peace :)

What an excellent place to have breakfast. They were almost at capacity last Sunday but delivered first class food and service. Will definitely be back there next time we are in Napier. There are a lot of cafes that could learn a lot from Ajuna. Well done!

Fantastic service and great food. Steak sandwich was fan-bloody-tastic mate and my partner loved the pasta, definitely recommend and also the guy serving behind the counter was a barrel of laughs. Definitely can't fault anything as was perfection

Super friendly staff, lovely decor, funky art work, very fitting tableware, the exterior looks good and the food is delicious and would suit most people with there being gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Definitely worth popping in, even if it's just to have a look :)

My favorite coffee spot in all of Napier. With personalized VIP cards where staff remember your order to amazing home made food. These guys rock it 🥰

They young dude on the till withers the pirate flag tattoo was super friendly and he kindly told me there would be a little wait on food and that was okay so I got two coffees for the wait and I'm so glad I did! Thay were both super delicious! I only ordered a casual bacon and eggs but it was worth the wait as it didn't even feel like that long. The wait staff were all super friendly! Would rate 6/5 if I could!

Got some very yummy sandwiches for take away today. Really delicious, high quality ingredients. We really enjoyed them. Wish we had had time to sit down in the cafe to eat there because it looked a lovely place, with friendly staff who weren't afraid to have a bit of banter. Would definitely go back.

I just love this place !!!! I used to come here for takeaway coffee but this time I tried their TOFU SCRAMBLE(VEGAN) DAMN !!! That was massive and delicious 😃 Not only the food and coffee tastes nice,their staff has awesome personality and great sense of humour too. The guy at the counter greeted me so well, and the guy who served my meal checked back on me to make sure everything is ok,even though he was pretty busy... No wonder why this place is always busy... nice work...Shoutout to the team... ✌✌

What a lively place. Great food, not only presented well, but delicious too. Attentive, friendly staff, great coffee. The place was buzzing. I thought I was in Cuba street, Wellington, such was the funky vibe. 100% satisfied. Will definitely be back next time we are up in Napier.

You have to come to this place! Food and coffee are amazing, tasty and full of flavour, we're going back for brekkie, instead of a snack. But, the star of the show is Jet, it doesn't matter if your 12 or 112,he makes you welcome and every customer had a smile on their face. Apparently, he's a local celebrity he's so well known,its great to see a business with so much personality, it'll have you going back for more. Please open a cafe in Auckland, and bring Jet with you.

Very busy cafe. Lovely meals, good proportions, even the coffee was nice which I usually find a challenge with mojo coffee. I had the pancakes, it's nice that they give you topping options. Hubby had the avocado squash absolutely yummy, our friend had a burger that looked yummy as well. Might have to have campaign coffee meetings or lunches here while going around as the ACT Party candidate for Napier. Judy with a Y, why because we can.

Food here is a level above, breakfast in particular is recommended, good staff as well. There is a reason it is so busy. Try the scrambled tofu, you will not be disappointed

First class.....never been to Napier, at age 36 now I know I’ve been missing out. Ajuna have set the bar extremely high.....the BLT with wedges I’ve just inhaled was 10/10.....what impressed me more was how great the young guy taking orders was, enthusiastic, witty & a true hospo professional.....then again they all were! Big ups Ajuna. I’ll be back

Great... Unlike most cafes it doesn't shut the door at 3pm but is open until 5pm. Perfect for us for a late cafe lunch at 3.30pm. No sense of being hurried. Great salads and samosas, good coffee and smiling staff.

Epic food, epic coffee, epic music, epic service! Upbeat vibe for early on a Sunday morning, whatever the staff are on, I need some of that in my life. Could've chilled there all morning. Will be back for sure. If you're heading to Napier this is definitely the spot to eat.

My partner and I are frequent regulars here as the food and drinks never disappoint and are worth what you pay for. I've chopped and changed my order many times but have since stuck with pancakes and/or lemon & sour cream cake and my partner always has the steak sandwich. Possibly the best French toast I've ever had. Well presented meals, not short on flavour. Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice interior with some modern and classic touches, fits in well in Napier. Grab brunch or a coffee and watch the world go by.

I go here at least 3 times a week. They always get the coffee spot on, the food is always top notch, fresh, presented well and delicious. The paninis are excellent, the bacon and eggs is a favourite. They have 3 different types of drinking water (on tap for free) and overall it's just a great place. Staff are lovely too. My favourite Napier cafe.

I don't come to Napier that often but this is the best place for my extra shot long black. I am in hospitality myself and the two guys, one serving one making, are awsome. Thanks guys and well done.

I visited this eatery about a month ago and the Thai Salad was amazing. I even passed my comments to the chef how impressed I was. Great value for money and although busy for a Saturday morning - service was quick & efficient. Would definitely recommend & plan to visit every time I am in Napier. I would be wary of recent reviews by customers who have not experienced the outstanding quality of food and service at Ajuna Eatery.

Waiter with eyelid tats is the best part about coming here. Never a dull moment with this absolute G of a character around. The delicious 3xcheese scone is a must.

I've been in a number of times and haven't yet found anything to either praise or complain about - it's a thoroughly average experience. Prices are high, but no higher than any other eatery in the area. The coffee is drinkable, but inconsistent on both temperature and flavour. The service is cheery or glum depending on who you get. And the food is okay, never something to rave about but sometimes lacking in taste depending on what you order. It's not a place I'd make a special effort to visit OR avoid, just somewhere that I might drop into while passing.

The coffee is good but their cakes were the highlight for us. Pecan cheesecake is my favourite. The guy who served us made our day too! All their food looks really nice, will come back for sure

Central Napier one block from marine parade this cafe delivers on all accounts.Beautiful decor and it has outdoor seating. Coffee is excellent and the breakfasts although on pricey side are big and not only look good but taste good.Money well spent excellent chef. The decor is good and waiting staff not only friendly but accommodating.Highly recommend.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Serving time was excellent. The food though was quite disappointing. Seafood chowder would have all the potential to be one of the best if not for being extremely salty. Sausage roll was dry and stale, probably minutes from needed to be thrown out. Somewhat bizarre combination of modern art and reproductions of classics on wall, but overall clean and tidy. Will not visit again.

Highly recommended. Busy venue but we recieved our food quickly and the staff were lovely. Most importantly the food was delicious! We had a table of 9 and everyone's meals were fantastic.

Set within one of down town Napier's lovely Art Deco buildings and with a constant ever changing cast parading by, Ajuna not only has a great atmosphere but a cuisine to rival most other eateries with an elegant, old European style decor, best of all is the wonderful staff, Ajuna a must when in Napier!

Food was very good, but the atmosphere was very pretentious. Perhaps some people like that, designer clothes, facelifts, more bling than a pirate's chest and plenty of cool cats. Not our cup of tea, but I'd get takeaway or Uber eats.

Eaten at many cafes in Napier and found this to be our go to place. They have awesome art from local artists. Staff are friendly and efficient. Great location in the centre of Napier CBD. Awesome coffee. Delishious food. What more can you ask for. ?

If you're looking for a nice place for breakfast this is a top choice. We went here instead of paying for an overpriced breakfast in our hotel and we are so glad we did. An interesting menu with fresh food that is cooked just right. Seating outside is very pleasant.

One of the best cafe's in Napier. Food is great, lots of vegetarian choice, on the more pricey side, but worth it. Customer service has always been great here.

I had tofu scramble in the breakfast, flate white, apricot ball, which were so delicious and so good. Moreover, the customer service was excellent.

I love the food here and the coffee is sublime...the best!. However it has recently undergone a huge price increase, with my favourite vege lasagne now $16.50 (cabinet food) when last week it was $13.50. The sausage rolls are almost $10 - and they're certainly nothing special. I understand price rises are necessary from time to time, but I reckon this is extreme for a place that is thriving .....not to mention the annoying 'fly' issue in the cafe. 27 April: I was not going to respond to say 'actually yes' you have put up prices within the last year, (I can only speak of the vege lasagne, as it was $13.90 when my daughter took me there for Mother's day last year); but since you saw fit to publicly humiliate myself and my partner in your cafe this morning banning me and saying we were trespassing (false because in order to trespass you have to be banned prior) - I feel fine about saying yes indeed there has been a price increase within a year. I have had friends look at the review I wrote, and they don't see how it could warrant banning customers - and in such an objectionable officious manner.

Ok yes the prices are not the best, the service is not the greatest. BUT the food is the saving grace for me, the coffee is pretty good too. Although I only have Americanos. I dont really go to cafes for the service to be honest and will pay high prices if it's worth it. Funny enough, the only issue/problem I have had are the other customers, who have been rude. I dont go here often but will definitely keep coming back. Kai pai...

One of my local haunts. The thing that makes this place 4 stars is that you are treated like family. They get to know you by name and remember your order. Outdoor seating in summer is fantastic. Menu is on the healthy side with a vegan breakfast available. A rare thing in hawkes bay.

Ajuna has become my local cafe of choice for a daily coffee fix and much needed Sunday brunch. Such a funky spot and the staff and owners are all super lovely - you’ll be guaranteed a laugh!

People reading... .Just be aware this is a case of mob mentality over an article over 1 person. I hope you can get these removed than have a bunch of keyboard warriors ruin your business
