One of the friendliest staff we had met in nelson. The service is top notch. They have one of the best pies and coffee in nelson.. the chicken and leek pie is simply delicious. We were visiting nelson for 2 days and this cafe was our favourite go to place. The food, the atmosphere and the friendly staff all make this cafe worth visiting again and again. Will definitely come back.

Fresh tasty food and drinks sitting in sun outside in central Nelson. Loved all the decor..reminded me of my 18y old self and my Vespa. Friendly chatty staff. Clean loos and lotsa of room inside as well as outside. Extensive menu to please any palate. This cafe set in an attractive street with old buildings and hanging plants a pleasure to the eye. Delicious lemon tart vanilla slice and chicken and brie pannie.

Apirl2021: theme is interesting for a non enthusiast.. Space is great. Chose to sit outside for brunch. Staff were happy and quick. meals fresh and hot. Coffee strong & hot. Price a bit x-spendie.. (when pricing an average main meal) BUT no faults with cooking. A staff member whom was walking back from a break came and took empty plates back into store as she walked past. 👍🏼

From the interior design prospective, Lambrerta Moto culture has been presented beautifully here by the interior designer. they Focus on the theme perfect by using the diverse items around lLambretta brand. the old posters, the antique bikes hanged on the wall and sitting somewhere, the big industry steel frame, the yellow theme wall matching the bright motorbike, the oil art paintings by all about this Cafe etc. The top goody foodie place, is offering people the culture & play the role as a gallery as well.

In for lunch. I had a seafood chowder. Needed seasoning but was nicely thick and creamy. My partner had a halloumi salad. Both were very tasty. My partner had a wine and I had a banana and maple syrup smoothie. Very very good. Cost about $55. Staff were friendly. Will be back.

I used to love this place but since the place was redecorated I’ve not enjoyed the ambiance as much. Always a good spot to catch the sun out front watch the world go by in central city. Food not always that great but it’s more the sunny location on a cool day it’s sheltered and catches sun

Our family has been coming to Lambrettas for years. Great location and a really good relaxed ambience. The menu is extensive, with really tasty pizzas, salads and breakfasts. They have a wide range of cabinet food, from sandwiches to freshly made salads. For you pie lovers, these pies are made by lambrettas, and are some of the nicest I've ever had.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, sadly the rest of the experience wasn't so great. Two eggs bennedicts arrived swiftly featuring rather bland presentation and an over cooked egg each. The spinach wasn't fully cooked through on my partner's dish. Both topped with an unimpressive prepared sauce. Honestly I really don't like to complain about food and typically wouldn't if I had just one of these individually fairly minor issues but all together it just made for an unimpressive brunch, especially for the price. To top it off my coffee was awful. Had a staff member come by our table I would have asked them to remake it as I wasn't going to drink it. After finishing our meals I thought perhaps I was being to petty, made the most of it and finished it anyway. Not a fan of wasting food I've paid for even if it is awful. Some nice seating arrangements and space for kids but honestly I doubt I'll be back soon given the price and quality. I am more than capable of overcooking my own eggs. I'd rather not pay nearly $20 for the privilege. FOH staff were pleasant but judging by other reviews the management might needs some fresh light on some aspects of the business.

Wondering if the older gentleman who served us was having a tough day. Fortunately the wait staff were warm and engaging as he had all the warmth of of a breeze block on an autumn day. Apparently the coffee and big breakfast was excellent. The chai was a warm milkshake, the salmon with the eggs benne was fridge cold.

Really nice spot. Went here a couple of times during our stay. Had the eggs benedict everytime. It was just regular eggs benny without fancy bells and whistles which was just what I was after. Staff were really lovely and we could have a ciggie at our table outside while soaking up the sun and people watching. They have readymade food on display and then you can also order from the menu. Everything looked lovely. It didn't break the bank.

Nice coffee, grumpy male host though. Female staff bright, happy and attentive. Food was nice, but French Toast slightly too soggy, but edible. Good portion size.. Berry compote that accompanied the French Toast made up of mostly apple, needed a microscope to find the Berry. Food not too bad, but overall experience a bit meh... Wouldn't go back in a hurry 🙄

This was a gem of a find. As an avid Scooterist from the UK who was just passing through Nelson it was a surprise to find this place. Lovely staff, interesting Lambretta related items and 3 or 4 bikes up in the wall. My only gripe was they shut a bit early (6pm)... would have loved to stay much longer.

We took 14 people there prior to a sporting fixture (Makos) on a Saturday and we had a fantastic experience, while most of us enjoyed their infamous pizza some went to the menu for vegetarian options. The food was great, the staff likewise and the place was humming, all in all top shelf all round.

Lambrettas is the best coffee in Nelson by a long shot. I live in Blenheim and regularly go to Nelson. Everytime I go there I stop at Lambretta's and enjoy a beautiful latte made by their professional staff. Try the smoked salmon and rocket Pizza, a real treat for pizza lovers. Or choose a lovely sticky cake from their amazing cake selection.
