C.The service was pleasant. The decor was nice, clean and tidy. The food was ok blueberry waffles was good they had alot of blueberries. The waffles were lovely. Unfortunately the eggs tasted like they were cooked in the microwave which made them very dry and the coffee wasn't very good however the prices were unbeatable. The hash browns were great not fatty which was great. They make the best smoothies. The creamy mushrooms were very good. Thank you for having us.
T.Fantastic little cafe a bit off the beaten track. Wonderfully friendly staff, delicious food, good portions and great prices. Would recommend to anyone for breakfast brunch or lunch.
My daughter's toastie was amazing, the nachos were great, and my mushroom dish was amazing. Thank you!

I can recommend their milkshakes especially the coffee flavor and try their air fried wedges-the wedges came with a really nice relish. We went back the following for coffee before heading home.
S.Lovely cafe. friendly waitress, good menu, great food and coffee, excellent clean and spacious toilet facilities.
A small ramp would be helpful at side of cafe from the car park to make it more accessible for walker or wheelchair access.

L.Great food and great presentation with very reasonable prices. The smoothies are yummy and healthy. Thai pumpkin soup was delicious and the kids loved their waffles with bacon, egg and maple syrup. The staff were very friendly.

C.A hearty, delicious breakfast served to us by the lovely Lisa at the Storm Shelter Cafe got our day off to a great start ! We were looking for a 'sit down' cafe to have breakfast after a few 'in the car' breakfasts and the Storm Shelter Cafe proved to be a fantastic choice. Great location, fantastic service, delicious food - complete value for money, comfortable ambience and friendly staff are some of the Cafe's key strengths. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND the SMOOTHIES ! R.Stayed here for the LKNZ backpackers and had brekki in the morning at The Storm Shelter which was pretty Q at the time we were there, ordered Bacon and Eggs and the Bacon Waffle with a couple of Smoothies and we were in heaven, honestly the best waffles I’ve ever had…coming back through in a week for some more delicious food, thanks guys 👍

A.We had the continental breakfast as part of our LKNZ Lodge package. Toast and Cereals. A good selection of spreads, bread types including gluten free. The complimentary instant coffee selection was poor, but everything else was good.
