M.Great coffee, enticing looking cabinet food, super friendly and welcoming staff. A great spot for a meeting, catch up with friends or to catch up on emails etc. Centrally located just near the Plaza this cafe is certainly now worth a visit under it's new ownership. Well Done!
G.Robert Harris is a great cafe to go to for delicious coffee and food. They have amazing super friendly staff and nice owners. Would definitely recommend for brunch, however wait times can sometimes be a bit long for food

A.The café's been beautifully refurbished and has a really nice atmosphere. Hot chocolate had a delicious amount of chocolate syrup on top and nice hotcakes. Egg's Bene was positively drowning in delicious hollandaise, and was really good with the English muffins and bacon. Also make sure to grab a Snicker's slice if they're available, they are super tasty!

C.Decent brunch as far as chain cafes go, and the recent renovation is definitely an improvement. The menu isn't particularly imaginative and hasn't really changed in years, but they're generally consistent, and many people like that. Can't fault the staff, they're always welcoming and helpful.
A.A great place for brunch. The kitchen is open until 2pm. The staff are very friendly and inviting. They have a changing menu. They also have a great selection of cabinet food. Their hollandaise sauce is very creamy. Eggs Benedict, Vege stack, juicy mango smoothie and fries.
A.Wonderful food (Muffin split served nice and hot, fresh Ingredients!) and service (Was given wrong coffee but staff member quickly gave me the one I wanted, even though it was lunch time rush hour!). Coffee great! Cafe has nice, comfortable interior! Would recommend!

T.The decor and ambience are lovely. The cabinet food looks delicious. The food presentation well done. One of our orders was the big breakfast with poached eggs or whatever it is called. My partner found it disappointing. The sausagees were tiny and tasteless. Otherwise a very pleasant visit. Prices a little higher than other establishments in Palmerston North.

d.Coffee was average temperature but wasn't burnt and tasted good, hot chips were perfect and the cabinet food was a good sized portion for how much it cost.
My cake was nice and fresh and my mum enjoyed her cheesecake.
Overall if coffee was hot then 5 stars would have been given will definitely be coming back and do recommend this cafe.

F.It's really nice for catch-ups. Afterwards you can go to the plaza. There caramel slice is really tasty. They have yummy slices that I enjoy with a cup of tea.

M.Nice coffee but not hot enough for my liking, reasonable prices and good service. I got the breakfast panini, really nice hollandaise sauce. Nice decor and the specials looked good. Nice central area in town, roomy and always looks busy.
P.This particular branch of Robert Harris is a lot like every other one I've ever been to. There were a range of seating options from high tables to sofas and ordinary coffee tables. The food cabinets were full and the food looked interesting, the coffee was good without being great. Maybe the most remarkable thing was a minor spelling mistake for one of the food items.
J.First time visit & very impressed with the service & food. We need to come again to try other menu items, so much to pick from.
D.Pretty average service, took 35mins to produce a fairly simple breakfast. Asked for No hollandaise sauce, it arrived swimming in sauce. Sent it back so had to wait another 10mins. Food was as ordered but barely warm. Asked for a cold lemon, honey and ginger drink which arrived warm.
T.Good service from some lovely waitresses, but the food was disappointing - ordered a $21 vege dish from the meu, the mushroom tased funny, chuck size of deep fried sweet potatos which were very hard to bite. I asked the waiter what is polenta which is one of ingredients in the dish, he told me it is something like potato. But it is nothing to do with potato.

H.My favourite cafe in town for sure, and I’ve tried all of them. Food is great and coffee is good too. The only issue is that the kitchen closes at 2pm while the cafe closes at 4pm so it can be misleading.

A.Only because iced coffee is not made with ice cream the Rotorua uses ice cream in the iced coffee taupo and Palmerston North do not however the carrot cake was absolutely divine hence the low score of three stones
