Fantastic service! I had the corn fritters and they were yummy. Crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. So good we came 2 days in a row. Will defs be a regular repeat customer!

Great place for a lunch with nice Harbour view! We ordered seafood chowder and half dozen fresh local oyster and they both were awesome! The chowder contains a great portion of seafood with great flavor. The oyster was also a surprise to us which was really big and fresh! The service was also great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Picton.

It's one of the crowded cafe I ever been too. I didn't try lunch but the coffe is what asked for. The view of harbour with a cup of cappuccino is all what I wanted. The staffs are really friendly and they remembered me once I visited second time. Even its too busy it's worth to wait. They close at 2pm so there aren't any dinner tho there is a bar to enjoy with your lunch. If you visit picton I highly recommend to grap a coffe if you have patient to wait in the lunch time (always) 😊🙌

Had the best Rib eye steak I've had in a long time and it was huge and cooked just they way I like it (medium-rare). My daughter loved the lamb sandwich. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back when in Picton next. Coffee is very good!

Ok so i was happy with my steak, the quality was very high, little fat or grizzle, cooked to perfection, but the meal for $30 did not make much of a dent to my hunger salad was rather small and so were the portion of chips. The kids meals look fancy but there was not much quantity so we had to go else where for a top up. The kids meals are definitely over priced for what you get.. and i dont think the salad for kids meals are the right touch. Entrées of garlic bread were fantastic and highly recommended as you can taste the garlic. Service was flowing and smiles all round. Drinks seem to take up a large part of our bill, unsure of prices but we didnt have desert and we already were over $200.... so not the best rating from my kids nor me.

Food is cheap and corner location is great! Right in Picton on the main street. You order at the counter then take a number and your order will be brought to you. I love a grilled panini and this one was not bad at all. The menu is quite varied to suit pretty much any craving you may have. It gets very busy but there's lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Too busy but good. Our food and coffee was great and coffees came with a little chocolate which was nice, but probably it was too busy for the number of staff because we weren't acknowledged by staff till they took the order. Total 1st World problem but would have been nice to receive a hello or something to know they knew we were there. It's a great location right by the bay with lots of windows to view and outdoor seating is adequate. I can recommend and I'd go again.

Well i had great expectations for this cafe and chose it against another restaurant. Alright, wrong choice I guess. I am quite disappointed about the food: I was hoping to have some real delicious sea food cause we are just at the heart of marlbough sounds however the oysters are tasting strangely bitter; mussels are fresh but the white wine cream sauce is not really contributing to it... My bf had lamb Salad and fish cake... Also so lala. Compared to other restaurants we've been to in NZ the food is definitely not the best. HOWEVER staff is nice and this cafe has a really good location. Only for drinks might be not bad.

My husband and I went in for lunch and clearly was a busy time as the queue was nearly out the door....but it is totally worth the wait! Staff were friendly and helpful. My husband had the eggs benedict with bacon which he loved, I had the corn fritters which were also amazing. Both meals were packed with flavour and presented superbly. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu. Also noted the coffee came with a wrapped chocolate on the saucer, and the cutlery was handed over wrapped in a napkin which is a nice touch given the current climate of covid awareness.

Staff were friendly but a couple of flies buzzing in the food cabinet didn't help so we went for the eggs benedict which were just okay. They should definitely remove the whaling harpoons from the wall as it's a part of history that is better left out of sight.

Great cafe with a nice setup inside to view the harbour from. Warm and welcoming with a good selection of foods to suit your needs and budget. Needs a vegan selection, other than just hot chips, but as it turned out, the soup was vegan on the day we visited. Seemed all the other places in town also don't cater for vegan's, but in this changing world it is something cafes need to get a handle on. Since I was not the vegan, I'd rate this place well, but as a dad wanting his daughter to have something nice, I'd just ask them to consider this.

We visited this restaurant on our last day in the south island, waiting for our ferry it looked really friendly and yummy. We ordered the steak sizzler meal for 3 and a fish and chips for 1. All four were just mouthwatering and amazing, steak had awesome taste cooked to perfection garlic butter🤤salad with sun dried tomatoes and chips so crisp. The fish and chips were the best in the world I reckon fresh and melt in the mouth. We loved this cafe&bar.the service was absolutely fantastic by all working. Saturday the 4th of January 2020 best dinner and service ever thank you for the great experience.

The food was fantastic, a lovely fish and chips and a really nice salad to go with it which I liked a lot, not just lettuce but cucumber, dried tomatoes and red onions etc. It was a really nice place and the staff were really welcoming and had a laugh with us. Seabreeze is our place to go for a coffee and snack when in Picton. We have been coming here for years. Good to see the hours are now extended as they were reduced by Covid. They have a great food selection and the staff always provide excellent customer service.

What a delicious meal! Great view of the marina and harbor. Our friendly server was full of great local info and stories.

Had 2 visits. Can reach the free wifi from here. Super delicious food. Coffee is sub par for my standard, but was happy they had the option of decaff and soy. Coffee flavour was dull and too much froth which was not smooth. They make a lot of things from scratch it seems because i was able to get custom orders which is a major plus! I was a happy vegan when we found out through discussion one of their soups was accidentally vegan, horray! Really pleasant vibe and aesthetically pleasing. REALLY lovely staff who were catering and attentive while being efficient; definitely a very well organised establishment.

If you don't care for seafood you don't really have a lot of options in this place. The prices are high, this really isn't cheap, but the interior design is cheap. It doesn't suit the menu at all. It took a long time before we finally got the food. So long, that it got cold outside and we had to move inside and share a table with others, because there wasn't any other table left.
