S.Since this store opened I've had a lovely and wonderful experience. I was served by a lovely mid-aged European man? He was super calm, sweet and positive and made sure to help me choose my options as I don't know how starbucks works.
I've given a 5 star rating because of the extra care the employees took to ask if I was okay standing because I'm pregnant and no seats were available.
B.I like going into Starbucks, not too many people in there. All you need to do is scan and show vaccine passport and order what you want. The coffee is good and the staff are friendly. Good to see Starbucks in Porirua.
I.Don’t bother mentioning anything negative, your review will be deleted within a week.
I left a review a few days ago, it was positive and the review wasn’t removed like the rest were.
Fast forward the next day, I decided to edit my comment to mention that they were putting a bit too much ice, and that it would’ve been a good idea to ask for less, + mentioning that some employees were a little..rude to other customers.
And today, I got the email saying my review was deleted, just like the others (there used to be around 20 reviews)
Anyway, although porirua starbucks tastes good, they’re kinda shady?

G.The porirua store makes the BEST caramel cloud macchiatos in the Wellington region. (Only drink I like from SB, it’s not as sweet) Definitely better than Hutt & lambton’s. Not gonna lie I’m a bit addicted to them and whenever I’ve got spare change lying around I go grab one.
Anyway, staff is nice, I’m a bit non-verbal in public settings and they’re fine with just reading my order off my phone :)
Moved out of porirua so probably won’t be back for a little while, which suckss
