J.Updated- went to Valley Home kitchen again today after the owners contacted me directly in regards to the previous visits Discrimination.
Happy to say the staff were really friendly, coffee is superb and service was wonderful.
Really appreciate the maturity of the cafe and their approach to rectify directly.
As per the law I was able to go to the counter order my takeaways with no issues.
If a company tried this hard to rectify a situation please give them a 2nd chance.
Have been enjoying and supportive of this cafe for 2 years- today the male staff member decided to loudly ask for a vaccine passport in front of other customers in the shop. So loud I asked him to speak quietly as to not expose my private medical information.
I said I ordered takeaway coffee so regardless I didn’t need to show it. Rude and very discriminating.
So unfortunate. Will no longer support
S.Cozy, charming cafe a bit away from Pukekohe centre. Well decorated. Friendly staff. Coffee was really nice and eggs Benedict ($17) was very yummy prepared with fresh bread and greens. Recommended!
S.Stopped by for lunch - we sat out the front under the cover as we had our dog with us and were served with smiles from the staff very quickly. Amazing food, presentation was lovely and the desserts were worth staying for! 👌🏼

But on a down side the person I was with had to wait over 30 mins (because they stuffed up the 1st lot before bringing out) for poached eggs, which was literally 2 eggs and 2 small pieces of bread!!! Nothing was offered for their mistake or waiting so long :-\...

K.This delightful cafe is out of the way of mainstream Pukekohe, but well worth seeking out.
It's not the biggest cafe, or have the widest menu, but what it does offer is very good.
I really enjoyed my homemade hash brown eggs benedict with smoked salmon. My wife also enjoy her waffles with bananas. All washed down with great full bodied coffee.
We shall return.
N.The Eggs Benedict is perfect. Eggs were perfectly poached, loads of hollandaise, nice sourdough toast.
D.At lunchtime the coffee was great and so was my sausage roll.
J.I haven't been to this place, but it's very popular from what I have seen when visiting the medical center next door. I apologize for an earlier review when I gave it 1☆ only did that because couldn't post a comment without giving it a rating.

R.No plastic food served here only fabulous homemade treats. Everything is delicious, the service is fab and the atmosphere is fantastic. Try the sponge drops and the smoked fish pie. The coffee cake is an all time favorite.
