S.Ordered soy flat white and friend had mocha. Very impressed with their non-dairy milk range. Super delicious coffee! Was so glad we found this place despite the loud road work going on around the corner. Will definitely revisit when next in Queenstown.

M.Favourite coffee place in town. Coffee is consistently well made regardless of who makes it, no ‘picking and choosing’ which time of day you visit to make sure your favourite barista is on. I always look forward to coffee from here.
J.Nice enough place to sit down for a coffee but don't expect it to be amazing. It's kind of like nespresso.. Which isn't terrible but not quite artisanal. I couldn't decide if the staff were friendly or not. They smiled to take my order which was nice but that's kind of where the warmness ended. When I left they didn't thank or even acknowledge me despite seeing me leave.
L.Yumi was very friendly the minute I walked into the cafe - even tho she was in the middle of making coffee for others. Coffee was absolutely amazing - soft, fruity and creamy the way I like it. Best of all they have a 50cent discount for bringing my BYO cup. Highly recommend swinging past this whole in the wall!
D.A good place for the early risers in Queenstown. They are open very early, and make a good mochaccino. It’s also a nice hole-in-the-wall coffee shop with nice decor.

Mackenzie serves quality espresso from their own blend of beans. Flavour profile is leans a little to the lighter/fruitier side, but nothing too extreme. They made our flat whites excellently with true microfoam and proper extraction.
Definitely stop in if you’re nearby!

I believe my original 3 star rating was a bit harsh so I have increased it due to the fact that everything else was indeed spot on. We came a few days ago in the morning. We ordered 5 coffees and the milk was perfect and consistent across all 5. However, the flat white was quite bitter and the barista got one of our orders wrong. I asked for mocha with oat milk but instead got flat white with oat milk (even though I repeatedly said mocha with oat milk). We didn't want to make a fuss and it wasn't a huge deal so we happily drank it. But the overall vibe from the barista wasn't really positive. I don't wan't anything bad to happen to the barista so let's just leave it at that. I guess I'm also an odd one out of all the positive reviews and I would like to think we just picked a wrong day. But this is my honest review of the experience we had.

M.Nice to find a cafe doing plunger coffee and a very good one at that. Service was prompt and friendly. Probably my favourite coffee stop in Queenstown, they are tucked away in a small lane but are well worth searching out.

McKenzie Coffee did not disappoint either with their service & product which I thoroughly enjoyed. My order was waiting for me thanks to the app and was so yummy.
