D.Overnighted in Reefton and this was good for an early morning breakfast before we departed onward and was a popular spot for a few passing through grabbing lunch as well from what we saw. Food and coffee were good and prices ok.
Y.Good variation of pastry and pies to choose from. Friendly service and cute seating outside. Really enjoyed pur break here. Would recommend!

After an overnight stay at Reefton, I was recommended this place by the hotel staff.
I had a good (vegetarian) breakfast but including eggs; and some tea. It was sumptuous, served quickly and excellent in taste - a good way to begin the day.
A highlight was having several books to browse, including one on trains - my favourite topic! What else can one ask for!!

C.Pie was average quite soggy ... chocolate chip biscuits at the counter were very crumbley ended up buffing them out . Older lady in line no mask ....nothing said by staff. But the coffee was beautiful service was fast and friendly.will stop by another time and try another pie

T.Nothing much to say. We were travelling to chch and in a hurry so didn't really take in about the place. We have been here before and it is always a nice clean place with yummy food. And we wouldn't have been back if we didn't like the experience. Why support you don't like. So we will be back again if we are passing through

v.Oh My Gosh...what an amazing Cafe in Reefton..if you ever stop in Reefton go to the Broadway Tearooms...the food is amazing, the prices are very well priced. I got in around 2pm, food cabinets were full, hot and cold...so so much to choose from..I will always stop at The Broadway Tearooms from now on....love love love!!!!
L.We stopped in during lunch for a tea and sweet. The place was "hopping" their menu is varied and includes some delicious looking salads as well as sausages and meat pies. We went for the carrot cake and cake. Yum!
They have seating outside as well as indoor areas perfect for families or couples.
K.The Tearooms have a nice outdoor area, and two rooms for eating. They have gluten free options. The service can be a bit spotty but the venue is popular with the locals.

P.Recently having had full dentures it's very difficult to eat much of anything. Today I shared a potato topped mince pie which was absolutely delicious and I was able to eat it with ease. Coffee wasn't so good but that was my fault for letting it get cold 😕Service was good and pleasant staff. Cafe was warm and cosy also. Thank you.

L.This place has a great selection of food and the coffee is great. We were passing through Reefton and stopped off for coffee, so glad we did. We also sampled the pies, scones and slices. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed everything we had.
J.Fantastic food of the quality you'd expect from an upmarket cafe, served in a cozy dining setting by friendly staff.
I got the chicken burger which I fully expected to be a basic chicken, lettuce, tomato affair, but it was cooked perfectly and served with a rasher of bacon and delicious chutney and chips, with an aioli to boot!
It put a smile on my dial after having driven 3 hours in the pouring rain - great job, folks!
M.This is a nice place to get some good food at quality prices. The servings are generous and the atmosphere is friendly. It is very popular and in my humble opinion is a better option than the other places on the highway to Christchurch. There are no toilets in the tearooms but a 1min walk up the road on the same side are the public toilets. Car parking is easy and in all the times I have stopped very close to the Broadway. If you are able to stop here then give the Broadway Tearooms a go.

P.For a small West Coast town with several competing cafés in close proximity, this is an impressive place.
They have a huge range of food in their cabinets, all of which looks so good, and a good menu as well. The service was quick and friendly.
I had a catering order for morning tea for 20 to take away, and a coffee and slice for me (these were great). The catering was delicious: sandwiches, savouries and dessert slices, all delicious and excellent value for money.
I was intending to try some of the other places, but in all probability I'll just come back here, it just works...

E.Lovely old property has been tastefully decorated. Good Mochas (the large size is enormous) and a great selection of cakes and savouries. The staff were great and even got us the recipe for one of the cakes we sampled.

J.Lovely cafe! Couldn't decide between kitchen and cabinet food. Had the eggs benne and a huuuge bowl latte. Both were excellent. Heaps of seating, meals came out quickly despite only one chef at the time we visited. Will be back!

K.If you are passing through Reefton or on an extended stay the Broadway Tearooms and Bakehouse is the place to visit. There is a great range of baked good and lunch items as well as excellent tea or coffee. Ample seating both indoors and out in a warm and welcoming environment. Takeaway food and drinks are also available. (Don't forget your keep cup).

K.While in Reefton on New Zealands West Coast, we stopped in here for a great breakfast. My wife had a delicious plate of Eggs Benedict, while I had a plate of Portobello mushrooms on home made rosti. The meal was delicious and the quantities were generous. The mochachino I ordered was perfectly made. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was prompt.
We returned the next day which was Easter Sunday, and were disappointed because we could not order from the menu and were confined to the pre prepared food in the cabinets. The lovely young lady who served us was even unable to heat my piece of pie in the microwave, because of the ridiculous public holiday regulations in our country. Surely we are not offending any religious group by microwaving a single piece of pie. It cannot be the work regulations, because the young woman was already working.
Not the cafe's fault, but still weird.
I would go back again anytime.

S.Place a bit shabby, meals ok. Good stop passing through the coast. I ordered eggs benny's, said gluten free but then lady said optional, so hold the sauce, meant to be wilted spinach, but fresh on rosti with poached eggs, off came spinach. So I had poached eggs on rosti. Bland. Next time i'll ask for eggs on gluten free toast. 😊
