Lovely breakfast there this morning before heading away again very friendly staff

Nice place with everything you need. Many options for food which was yum. Did stand at the till for about 5+ mins before i had someone come out to serve

Amazing food! The pies were wonderful, a cute little spot for a family road trip when everyone is hungry, five stars would recommend.

One of the best places to get inn for breakfast while travelling from Nelson to Christchurch. Recommended

Lovely tearoom and outside seated area, great coffee and cabinet food selection, even some keto options. Clean toilets.

A bit of a rough gem that has the potential to be a little diamond. We had wedges, a muffin, a scone, a Long Black, and an Americano coffee. Couldn't fault the food or the hospitality of the staff, both were top notch, however the place was in dire need of a good clean and redecorating.

As always nice friendly staff and great food for reasonable prices.

Place is for sale so stock is kept to a minimum. Place clean and tidy, not a lot of customer service. No friendly smile, just push us through and serve the next. People behind the counter looked out of their depth.

Great little spot for a coffee and a sausage roll.

Dropped in on the way through, on the way to Nelson for refreshments just after the lunch time rush. The chips and hot dog were nice and what you would expect for deep fried food. The pies pastry looked looked like they had been in the warmer a bit too long. The shop was clean and the staff were hospitable. The toilets were clean. A wide selection of foods. My wife enjoyed the chocolate milkshake and we stopped on the way back through especially for another chocolate milkshake on the way back to Christchurch

Had a beef pastie and steak and mushroom pie. Very beefy and great pastry. Would recommend

A good stop for refreshments when returning to Nelson....

Not to bad for a stop in for a quick trip meal, but unfortunately $6.30 for a steak n cheese pie bit steep for me, for that price i would want my socks to blown off, apart from that i would still stop in and grab a few items while traveling.

Good food. Quick and friendly service. We had a lovely meal as we watched the World moving past outside the window. Food well cooked and lovely coffee and tea. Relaxing stop after a long drive.

Average, good to stop while going further to Nelson. Coffee is pretty good bit need more instant hot food choices. The cabinet was quite empty at 10 in the morning.

Very good spot . We only had ice cream but there was a good selection on offer if you wanted something more substantial. Roomy place plenty of tables and nice out door area. Good restrooms. Recommend

Food was alright but then again it is just a takeaway store on the side of the road so how high do you set your expectations? Haha also the owner was getting really flustered and rushed when there was a small queue

Only suitable spot for us between Christchurch and Nelson for a stop and some snacks.

(Translated) Very nice service and the lady went out of her way to get a vegetarian sandwich. Then they made me extra ready. There are many homemade things. Delicious. (Original) Sehr netter Service und die Dame war sehr bemüht, da ich ein vegetarisches sandwich wollte. Das haben sie mir dann extra fertig gemacht. Es gibt viele homemade Sachen. Sehr lecker.
