D.Stopped in here for lunch on our way through Rotorua. Amazing coffee and food was superb! Was quite a long wait in line to order although a busy cafe is always a good sign. Will definitely stop by again when we're in the area.
S.We visited Artisan Cafe on a rainy weekday in Jan on our road trip...I googled best cafes in Rotorua and this one looked good. Did not disappoint! They were super accomodating for my son who has an egg allergy...visiting a cafe normally has very limited options for him but he loved the Buttermilk Chicken Burger and a delicious vegan slice for afters! I got the Artisan Sunshine breakfast which was so up street!!! Happy family all round!
P.So first visit on the Saturday we had the chicken salad which was amazing tender with the Pacific salad, lovely and fresh. We then had flat whites, fantastic and shared beautiful carrot cake. High recommended.
Ok part 2 of this review, now Sunday. Went back for bunch fabulous. The staff are so attentive, respective and service is quick. The food presented was awesome as per the photos.
S.Heading out of Rotorua on our last morning in town, we decided to check out another top rated breakfast and cafe shop.
Opening nice and early we arrived and were greeted immediately by the front of house staff.
Looking for something light, we opted for the eggs on toast with a side of avocado and bacon mixing up with two different bread options from the ciabatta bread it was normally served on, and also tried out the 5 grain bread.
Both options delicious.
Avocado mash on point and bacon was cooked perfectly with very minimal fat and not too crispy not undercooked either. Just perfect.
We finished off our brekky with a mocha and cappucino.
Although not enough froth (more like a latte) coffee was absolutely perfect in taste and no bitterness either.
Would definitely come back when we visit Rotorua again!
A.This cafe is a must do. One of the best breakfasts we have had on our holiday in Rotorua. Nice hot strong coffee to start the day and fresh tasty breakfast. Would highly recommend a visit. Nice and warm cosy cafe. Thanks for having us!
