X.My family and I have been visiting Coffee Club at Manukau for many years now. We often have lunch at the St Luke's branch, only because their food is amazing. Although the Manukau branch as great staff, good customer service and coffee, their food can be better. There is such a difference in the way their menu is prepared and served from one branch to another. I personally think this should be looked at as at the end of the day you are representing Coffee Club and their should be a certain level of consistency. I ordered the Southern fried chicken ciabatta, the portion of chicken was so small, lots of coating, we were eating mostly bread. It was also quite dry, not enough sauce.The Calamari dish had such small portions of calamari and the salad, well let's just say there was so little that you might as well remove it from the plate. No tomatoes either. The seafood platter was good and shrimp popcorn tacos a must try, nicely prepared. When you are visiting different locations of the same franchise, customers not only expect good service but excellent food.
J.Asked for poached eggs with two meals and they arrived hard as rocks. Hollandaise sause flooded one meal...was way too much. Asked not to have toast with another meal and it's still on the plate... could have gone to another meal. Also seems to be a shortage of butter as the toast was still as dry as the staffs personality. Kranski sausages were not that great either, very dry and looked miserable. Tomatoes underdone and cold. Not the best cook today I suppose.
K.I ordered a side of calamari with tomato sauce. It was the first time I ever tryed it with tomato sauce and I absolutely 💯👌 loved it. It reminded me of pizza 🍕 like that seafood pizza. I also had a large decaf Vanilla Latte 😋☕❤I will always recommend this cafe/restaurant.
