Great coffee and food. Nice relaxing setting. Definitely a repeat visitor to this place. Does get very busy, which isn't an issue because the staff are very efficient. But if you feel like a nice peaceful coffee, plan the time you go

Amazing service at the till, and the coffees were done extremely quickly, even though they were busy! The coffees were delicious, and well worth it!

We have been going there for some time and have always had Ex Service. My husband loves their coffee.

Great coffee but one staff member is possibly the rudest person in NZ. Our party of five was told we could not move two small tables togther despite there being several tables configured in pairs to seat six. "Its because of Covid" apparently. After waiting for a table for six to come free we were halfway though our drinks when we were told we had to hurry up and leave as there were others waiting for a table, there were three people about to order! I politely told her that we were still having our coffee's which we had been enjoying up to that point and would leave when we were finished. As i took my last sip she pounced again saying we have to leave now as we were finished and there were people waiting, again three people at the counter and there were other tables. This was just rude, she obviously was having a bad day and paying it forward! This behavior is totally uncalled for and not the type of person that should be in a customer facing role.

Very busy on Sunday after church. They were run off their feet. Nice place to be outside overlooking the plants. Good coffee etc. Be going again but on a less busy time.

Our "Go to" breakfast cafe when we're in Gate Pa or passing by. Our usual the 'Junior Big Breakfast', with scrambled eggs, followed by flat whites. We've probably had this a dozen or more times and we've never been disappointed. Staff are friendly. Full marks to kitchen folk. Highly recommend. Gold card discount a bonus.
