B.Love, love, loved the injected donut I tried! The chicken and cranberry panini was also excellent. The freakshake however was mostly whipped cream rather than milkshake so you’re paying pretty much for everything on top of the shake. Otherwise, a decent place to visit! Will definitely be returning to try the other injected donuts 😋
A.The food is amazing, this place is a must to visit when in Tauranga, the food is incredible, home made pies and savory's, along with donuts filled rolls and good coffee.
I love good food and very fussy but not able to fault this place.

C.We experienced this lovely Bakery when we delivered the leadlight door for repair last week. We decided then to return for a lunch (had coffee and scone/cake first time).
Wonderful service, fantastic restful environment with some vintage radio from the historic village radio station. I had the wrap and the doughnut . Diane had 9also the doughnut) and what she described as being "fantastically light, delicious pie"
S.My husband and I went for morning tea on a Sunday. The food was amazing! So many options (sweet and savory), the coffee was great too. Ample seating inside and out. I would love to visit again.
I.Great service and food. Would recommend everything except the crazy milkshakes. 10/10 for milkshake presentation but 4/10 for taste unfortunately. But other than that, try everything on their menu, you won’t regret it! 😍
M.Mmm where do I start....overall wasn't bad however, also wasn't great either. Food was average. Arancini ball was microwave reheated so sadly went gluggy. Chicken, bacon panini was tasty. Both had really boring presentation just plonked on a plate. Iced coffee was nice, unfortunately though I was asked if I wanted cream & icecream, I asked for no cream but a small amount of icecream....coffee came and a 3rd of it was thick whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon 🤔 Finally, the salted caramel freaking good shake was the best part of the order. Looked fabulous and was sweet and sickly in every way. Again though, lots of thick cream, not really a drinkable shake but I guess you're paying for the presentation and added bits. Probably wouldn't go again, but it was an experience!

L.The food here is to die for, its my go to place when I visit Tauranga, really close to the hospital and Kathrine Kilgour center. Can not reccomend this place highly enough. Staff are all awesome and friendly too, well done to everyone who makes this place a success. AAA+
J.Great little cafe, lots of options to select from: muffins, scones, slices, huge donut delection, brakfast, coffees and thei delectable "Freaking Good Skakes". Breskfast benedict was amazing but my husband was dissapointed with the standard breakfast. Will definitaly be back.

A.It s very nice bakery. They have yummy pastries pies cakes coffees and crazy milkshakes thick shakes. The people are also very friendly and always smiling.
I highly recommend to go there to indulge and relax with your family and friends.

M.Their bacon, egg and hollandaise panini was very good. The staff were friendly and it's a nice setting in the historic village. The only downside was despite plenty of staff they were quite disorganized. Tables weren't cleared despite staff members walking past many times. An iced latte we'd ordered didn't show up until after we'd finished eating.
S.Best bakery cafe in Tauranga. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Two flat whites & a gluten free scone for me old mate. A "must visit" if you're at the Historic Village. Support for St John staff & Vollies greatly appreciated. Highly recommend.
A.OMG. I so ate with my eyes today,all the cabinet food looked amazing.
Settled on the incredible Donut pudding and best Bacon egg panini iv ever had, they were both so good.
Wife also enjoyed her savory scone and sinkers cream donut. Food is always great here.
N.The Chicken cranberry panini was yummy, tasty and reasonably priced. Nice little cafe situated in the historic village. Buy you something to eat and walk around the village during your lunch break. Well worth it...

N.Great place for cakes and donuts in a cute setting. We had the choc caramel peanut cream donut and cherry cheesecake and they did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful. The apricot chicken panini didn't live up to expectations, was all sauce and barely any chicken and I think mine had sliced stuffing in place of chicken, was a bit weird and I couldn't eat it, with that in mind we would probably skip the savouries next time and go straight for the sweet treats.

S.Kumara pie was great, hot chocolate was good. Carrot cake was good looking but not enough flavour and quite dry.
But the biggest thing was waiting ages for eggs benedict only to be told they were out of gas.

A.It took just one visit for me to fall in love with this little, olde worlde cafe. Their selection of sweet treats is “to die for”, while the atmosphere is laid, back, welcoming and also family friendly in keeping with the village’s atmosphere, Well worth a visit, and ideal for special occasions, I’m talking about “high teas”, morning or afternoon teas. You’ll rave about the experience foreva!

l.Lovely place to visit, great position in the historic village. Gets very busy and not sure why dishes were being carried elsewhere for cleaning as that created more foot traffic and a bit of a distraction but overall the service was quick, food and beverages yum.
