Without a doubt one of the cosiest and most appealing cafés in Te Awamutu with a wide range of mouth watering dishes and delicious hot drinks. Hence why this place is quite busy but the friendly staff keeps things running smoothly like clock work. Guess I found a new favourite!

Awesome little cafe, very retro with good atmosphere. Loved the couches and cute chairs, very comfortable. Food was very nice even if slightly pricey. Delicious milkshakes and loved the tea options. Friendly staff and prompt service, didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. Will definitely be coming back here :)

A warm family, and dog friendly Cafe. The food was great and staff were busy but lovely. The Cafe had a real 'at home feel' with the staff looking after everyone. This my first time at Baked and I will be coming back! 0

Cool looking little café, very cute and inviting, but need to up their game with service. I had to repeat order several times before the girl behind the till got it right. Soup of the day was not warm at all. Asked for coffee in take away cups, got it in normal cups. Ordered peanut butter brownie, was brought a cookie, so it had to be replaced by the brownie. Staff very friendly and accommodating though. Just get your orders right, because it is not a cheap café. Wish them all the best though.

Really decent food and quality service at a super reasonable price. The people behind the counter are always really friendly and it is definitely our go to Cafe in Te Awamutu.
Only minor feedback.. If someone orders from the cabinet and someone orders from the menu, ask if they want their food brought out at the same time. Otherwise you have people with their food and others waiting which isn't the best. Especially when it takes 15 minutes (which is absolutely reasonable) for the food to come from the kitchen.
Lastly, it takes less than 2 minutes to whip fresh cream guys!!! And it's a much nicer consistency than airated Tatua cream in a can. As soon as you start using hand whipped cream, this review becomes 5 stars 😁
Edit - Awesome re he whipped cream, I guess it just makes it quite light and fluffy 👌 love ya work!

Really, really cute. Lovely food, we took a friend with us the other day and they had a fritatta type option which they really enjoyed. The coffee was pretty good but could be even better...

Friendly and helpful staff. Cosy, warm and inviting yet stylishly designed decor. Great menu, including delicious vegan options. Child friendly and environmentally responsible.
