J.Great cafe. Stopped here on an adventure bike tour. Great eggs Benedict with home made Hollandaise sauce. Good coffee and friendly staff.
S.Nice cafe in Wairoa. Possibly the best one. Very busy. We ordered cappuccino and flat white plus a chocolate raspberry brownie. It was really good. Standard price. The lady at the counter could be a bit more friendly but I understand everyone was quite busy and she's trying to get the order quickly. Beautiful spot by the river. Recommended!

A.Such good coffee! The service is always lovely and friendly. They are very vigilant with the COVID scanning and mask wearing which is reassuring. The food never ever disappoints! Breakfast has a great menu and lunch is sooo good too! The Mushroom Hash is must!

Friendly service, love how our waitress addressed my grandchildren like custumers instead of ignoring them (some servers forget children). Food was scrumptious and if we ever pass through Wairoa we will definitely be calling in again. Perfect.

G.10:10 Unbelieveably Awesome - has to be the best Coffee in NZ. It does not get any better. Had a Cappuccino, WOW seriously good. The Raw Date Slice was unreal - Also awesome. I would give more Stars if I could - Highly Recommended - if you like coffee you have to try Eastend Cafe.

K.Good coffee but mind the gap between the food display and the counter rail. If you drop something (keys) down there, it is quite a process to recover it.
T.Amazing place with the best omelettes, pancakes, and homemade cakes! Came back on our return from Waikaremoana, because it was so good. Wish I could come here every weekend!
Prices are very resonable: Omelette $16, pancakes $17, cappuccino $4.5, slice of cake $5.5.

M.The Eastend Cafe is a firm favourite with the locals. The food is delicious, fresh, healthy and interesting. The decor is a little quirky, look for the spoons in the entrance floor! This is a great place for lunch with friends or just on your own. It's a really friendly atmosphere. They do takeaways as well so even if it's really busy or you don't have much time, you can still get your Eastend Cafe "fix"!
L.We arrived hungry and they were able to make at least a couple of things from the menu vegan. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a delicious vegan mushroom hash and a really good soy flat white. Recommended!

G.This cafe is a big gem in a small town. The food is homegrown, delicious, the coffee is exceptional, have been in many cafe's, so I can say that. Excellent service with a personal touch. The cafe sits across from the Wairoa river so the view is outstanding, great ambience adds to it's charm, cant say enough about Wairoa Eastend Cafe.
E.Seriously good coffee. Busy local cafe,seemed to be many local clients which is always a good indicator, indoor and outdoor seating. Check out the display of cutlery embedded in the entry walkway, some one had a clever idea, we enjoyed it here
S.Ran out of most food options by 1:15 pm which is ok but the woman behind the counter was quite short in her approach telling me this. The woman who brought my food out was lovely though. From the reviews it seems like it’s usually a great spot so maybe the woman behind the counter was having an off day. Food was average.
P.Great friendly helpful staff,great atmosphere. Board menu and cabinet good has a great selection and understand gluten free as am coeliac and try hard to meet your needs. Fabulous for catering for groups too both in house or bring to your organization. Just had a fabulous Xmas work do there😊

I had a Corn fritter with Tomato , Avocado & Camembert to eat and a long black for $13.00 it's so strange paying less than $25.00 at a cafe for really good food and a drink. Highly recommend. Also plenty of out for seating so that we could enjoy the lovely Wairoa weather :)

The coffee and breakfast were both delicious, and the customer service was wonderful. Lots of cheery locals and obviously the pick of all the cafes for breakfast as it became quite busy though that just added to the fun atmosphere.

The atmosphere is electric and alive.
The food is yummy and flavourful and the proportions are generous.
A trip to Hawkes Bay is not complete with out eating here at least once.
Not to mention every staff member is friendly and delightfully local.
