H.The new owner keeps the previous old deco style well, old classical historic elements to be shown by the deco on the high shelves and the coffee baking machine. The breakfast is good enough to feed me comfortably. Nice place to catch up with the mates here too.
T.Stopped in here for a family breakfast. The place was one of the few open mid morning on Cuba Street. The staff were welcoming and the place had a coffee roaster which I thought would be a good sign. Found a booth which had certainly seen better days toward the back, which as there were three of us was one of the only tables that would have space. The menu was nothing special and we opted for 2 x big breakfast at $19 each and a $17 special hashbrowns with salmon and avocado. The big breakfast was alright, provided what was described on the menu, but in my opinion wasn't worth $19 however, my wife enjoyed the $17 special and coffee was good as was the service.
T.Very nice coffee joint with very friendly staff and bites that are at least a billion times better tasting than what 'the mermaid company' offers. At times, stragglers like this cutie pop in and beg for a crumb. Will definitely visit more often!

I will come to Aramo during the time I have spent in Wellington.
I think Aramo is the best place in Wellington you should bring your mates to.

M.A very cozy beautiful place. Coffee is fantastic, they even sell 'queen' coffee beans (crushed or otherwise), definitely recommend it.
Food is good, just felt that the quantity is not in sync with the price. After that delicious Hash brown stack brunch, I felt myself hungry.
They have couple of yummy cakes - carrot, banana, chocolate 😍😍.
If u are a small portion eater then this is the place to go for a perfect Sunday brunch on Cuba street.

G.A+ Cafe that looks all the world like a B- from the outside. Their coffee is a deliciously light and fruity bean that I think they roast on site. We often buy their beans, which are very reasonable ($36/kg at time of writing, or 250g for $9). The best thing though are the cakes and slices! Delicious all, and generously cut. Very friendly service. I'm often surprised to find the place mostly empty. Since "discovering" this place it's become our favorite. I hope no one tells them they could increase their prices by 50%, reduce their servings by half, and switch the welcoming smiles for hipster surliness, dial the roaster up to "char", and they'd probably increase their clientele.
A.Wonderful family owned cafe with lots of homemade treats and affordable tasty breakfast. Service is amazing and the coffee is so good to! They roast their own beans in house. Would recommend! Five out of five :)
S.Great coffee. Had apple crumble cake , very big slice but shared it with my sister. The cakes texture was lovely the apple layer was just right not overcooked or sweetened too much. We went back next morning for brunch

T.Being a visitor to Wellington you are spoilt by choice of different cafes and restaurants. I'm a return visitor to Aroma as this is a delightful place. During Queens Birthday weekend had muesli and pancakes along with a long black all were surperb. My first time here I had bacon and eggs again this was yummy.
M.We really enjoyed the service and atmosphere of the Aroma cafe. Very nice coffee that was strong on flavor but not bitter. Wonderful cakes, really delicious.

G.I came to Aramo wellington last week with my husband. we were soo enjoy the foods and coffees. the service and staffs are very friendly. they servered us very carefully even the shop was full of the customer. I like the way they roast their own coffee. So amazing! It's a good idea as I come here sometime and make it regular with my family.

I felt very comfortable sitting there working on my computer and reading. They have excellent wifi. I loved this place so much that I went back the next day as well.

The atmosphere is suitable for working in as there's plenty of space and the music isn't too loud.
M.As an American who holds burgers as a sacred national pastime (who's been struggling to find a genuine burger in Wellington,) I can say I was satisfied. If you want a true taste of the state's order the BBQ beef burger.

Outside sitting area no shade, tables covered in plates and cups, birds all over the tables bird poo everywhere on the tables an seats.
Food was good tho nice and hot very flavourful.
